Me and my partner had a booking for 8.30 last Friday night, we arrived to out table not being ready and told to stand around in the entrance for 10 mins while no one did anything . Then when I asked to go sit at...our table a rude young Australian girl said ill be there when I'm ready to set it up . We sat down and received no attention or even an offer for a drink or table water for an extended time so we got up and left . No one there seemed to care So disappointed!More

One of the top Japanese/Sushi places on the Gold Coast (I've tried most of them). The food is great, both the sushi/sashimi as well as the rest. Very friendly service too.

Sushi & Sashimi was very good but the service was appalling! We arrived at 7:45 and were still waiting for our meal at 9:30… The raw fish boat was very overpriced for what you received and the hot pots had very little flavour. All in...all a disappointing experience.More

Great Japanese experience. Took grandchildren and parents for a new lifetime experience. The meal was delicious. The waitress was super friendly, and so very helpful, explaining all the variations and types of food. Plenty of time was given for us to contemplate the menu then...order. Waitresses recommendations were spot on. The atmosphere was so good and friendly.More

Try the toothfish when available. Amazing. Tempura is as good as you will ever find. Great for family's & groups.

This is the only restaurant I have been to over 10 x. We go about twice a year over the last 10 years and always enjoy the food, its reasonably priced and you can byo wine. The sliced duck is my favourite and always order...a large plate and share.More

Drive S down the Gold Coast, duck in away from the beach at Miami and you will find in a small shopping centre I hidden Japanese gem. In Mountain View Road, Miami , lies one of the best smaller Japanese restaurants on the Gold Coast....It is actually the little sister to the more well- known and popular Itoshin Japanese Restaurant in Mermaid Beach and brain- child / long - standing chef ( Father ) Hibiko Ito . Little Itoshin is of course , Hibiko Ito’s son , carrying on the wonderful Japanese tradition. My friend and I stopped by for lunch and we will definitely return! A few other restaurants call this area home as well with lunches and dinners. Interesting extensive, fresh , healthy, tasty menu. Quite busy also for a weekday luncheon. Just a small restaurant where one can sit inside or out . Best to sit inside though and watch Little Itoshin work his creative magic. We ordered two delicious entrees- a plate of the small green salted beans , followed by the ( favourite ) Kaarage fried chicken pieces , both very acceptable. My friend had heard about the Okonomiyaki as a main , so we opted for that. Well, one serve of the Okonomiyaki pancake did us both for the main! The pancake consists of shredded cabbage , spring onion, fish cake, topped with pork belly. The toppings can change for delicious prawns I understand! Restaurant is BYO wine only ( bottle shop nearby) Interior of Little Itoshin is bright and interesting. Comfortable seating at tables or stool/ counter scenario. Local artist shows his works on the walls, attractive and bright. Parking directly outside for quite a few vehicles.More

Absolutely delicious and super fresh! We had the $55 banquet and it was divine! They take such pride in presentation and the staff were super lovely and helpful. Will definitely be back!

We eat here regularly. As a family. As a couple. It doesn’t matter. Always the best fresh food, great selection of sake and top class service. Will be there again very soon.

Excellent traditional Japanese executed well. Good staff who were very clear on ingredients (coeliac friendly). The seafood is sourced from all around Australia and changes according to the season. The sushi & sashimi were excellent, the tempura light & shabu Shabu delicious.
