Comfy, Cozy and friendly service

I have no idea what others are on about. The service here was great and very personal. Friendly staff and yummy food. Vegan options were so good ,loved the mango sorbet. Coffee was delicious and protein balls tasted like healthy ferrero rochers. Just visiting Gold Coast but if I’m ever here again I’m coming back to this chill and yummy getaway. Thank you to the wonderful staff

Great location, good food and service

Have had two lunches here. The food was good and the services as very good. Tables were kept clean promptly a client left and food was delivered promptly and our requests were also dealt with rapidly. The barramundi was most enjoyable.

Tucked away between the Palazzo & Marina. Great food and service.

We were after a lunch feed but were't too hungry. Items on the menu here catered from finger nibbles to plated meals. Service was friendly and engaging from this family business. So much so, that we returned the next day for early drinks. Good value for money. You won't be disappointed.

Disappointing service and poor food

It is so disappointing when you find a restaurant with such a great location and the food is so poor. We often go here because it is a local cafe and the coffee is good. However, every time we have decided to eat a meal we have been very disappointed. We chose the corn cakes for breakfast and they were disgusting with no flavour and just mush inside. Even the bacon and eggs was cooked badly. We decided to give it another go and have lunch on a later visit. We chose the toasted turkish sandwiches. While we waited half an hour for our coffee to arrive we then waited longer for the sandwiches. They had almost no filling, the avocado was black and neither had been toasted. We waited even longer for a side of fries. Sorry, we won’t make the mistake of eating there again. Very poor and sloppy, disorganised service. No care and skill which is embarrassing when you take friends or family to enjoy a meal.

Not fresh, not delicious

Service fine initially, but when the meal came out with cold soggy fried chicken and an egg that was old and stale the server was rude and condescending towards me. An alternative meal was offered but not a refund. Alternative meal was fine but not fantastic. Overall, very disappointing

Disappointed with coffees, mild/milky/lukewarm, not what I expected.. rushed service. Lot of green leaves and raw tomatoes small portions of fish and chicken pieces ..!! We were still hungry after lunch and had to order Take away pizza’s. Wong be going back again.

Best coffee on Gold Coast!

Second time back. This cafe makes THE BEST coffee! Staying in Broadbeach, it's been nothing but tragic trying to get a decent coffee anywhere. (All dreadful). Sunset has been consistently excellent. Frothy, fabulous taste (not burned or bitter or over espressed). Would come every day if I could! Definitely recommend it.

Do not recommend

Had not been for a few years. No atmosphere at all, Staff were disinterested and smile free. The food not good and has really deteriorated over those years. I had a chicken carbonara a sauce, pasta with slices of cooked chicken added, horrible. Would not recommend at all Don't chill your Pinot Noir. .

Fantastic service, view and location

I have been coming here for a longtime. Today I had the Chicken Carbonara. It was the best pasta I have had in years. The chicken and pasta were cooked to perfection. I have my usual large latte and every time I come here the coffee is spot on and Claire the barista is one of the best on the Gold Coast. Serve was fantastic and the weather was perfect. A must try.

Beware eat at your own rusk

Worst food on the Gold Coast and expensive for what it was BLt was so so, chips were unedible and i ordered extra chipe also unedible ,staff not friendlylooked like they did not want to be there, service deplorable if you want to waste your money its the place to do. I will never go there again.

Hi, we have been to this venue many times. Good food , average wine, but great outlook over the Broadwater. We have asked the staff to upgrade their NZ save blanc. Current wine very average and sweet. We enjoyed our last visit as we usually do. Unfortunately both my wife and I had violent diarrhoea and hour after we ate. We both had chicken dishes with Mango smoothies. It all looked good, no adverse smells, so we assumed it was an incorrect staff washing procedure. This review is only being done so that owners are aware of the problem occurred. We will be back, hopefully with a bottle of wine with our meal and no more hygiene issues. Barry

Rude and unhelpful

Worst and internet service ever. Don’t stop here on any ferry or river experience cruise in the Gold Coast. Stay on boat and head back to where you came. Waitress was unnecessarily rude!
