Fresh fish and chips. The batter was light. I had barramundi special grilled. Delicious Greek salad was crunchy and fresh. So good we returned the next day for marinated octopus, taramasalata, prawns and oysters and more Greek salad. As they'd sold out of salad the staff went and made a fresh one for me. Greatly appreciated and greatly enjoyed. The... More

We enjoyed being able to select our own fresh fish fillets and have them cooked to our liking = grilled or battered. GF is catered for too. However they are a little pricey as most fresh fish is $55 a kilo including cooking costs. The fish was tasty but the chips very ordinary. We've definitely had better chips from a... More

Went there on a Saturday Argo. A bit of queue and waited 15mins for our order to be prepared. Had a couple of fish n chips sets and dozens of oysters. They were were fresh and tasty. Note that the seafood were fried with breadcrumbs and not normal batter. If you want batter, then need to specify when u ordered

We dropped by after SeaWorld for dinner. Prices are really cheap and the food is well cooked and really delicious! Kids enjoyed their fish & chips and the adults enjoyed everything! The baked lobster was delicious and even better than what we had at Sydney Fish Market.

Food was yummy and fresh. I have never eaten so yummy fish and chips. It was so fresh and tasty in reasonable price must eat while it is hot. You can choose either battered, grilled or crumbed if you wish. A lot of seagulls around if you sit at the tables across the road.

Went there twice during our stay in Main Beach. Food was yummy and fresh. However, the seafood chowder was abit thin and not piping hot. As to some reviewers about fish not being really fresh, I guessed it comes down to luck and the one that "slip thru the crack". Our battered fish on the second occasion was not as... More

Peter's Fish Market serves the freshest of all seafoods - cooked or fresh to take home to enjoy. The seafood comes directly from the Trawlers which berth no more than 50 metres away. Fish can be bought battered, crumbed or simply grilled if a patron is gluten intolerant and cannot ingest flour which is used in the batter. They serve... More

Fresh seafood at reasonable price. Great for a quick bite to eat or order up and have your own seafood banquet at home.
