We went here twice during our visits to Harbourtown and hubby was very pleased with his traditional flat white coffees. On our first visit, I was too hot for a hot drink, so ordered an iced mocha, which came with ice cream and cream! A decadent drink, more like a liquid dessert, and really good on a hot day. We... Goldsteins bakery's are always favourites on the Gold Coast. The staff are usually very good at any of their restaurants and the pies are great although a little on the expensive side. Best ones are the gourmet pies with peas and gravy.Yum. Coffee is good too.

I love pies but the pie I got was horrible soggy and not hot. I like hot pies. If you pay $5.50 for a pie you want it to be hot and crispy.

After shopping I stopped at Goldsteins Bakery, they have the best tastiest Malaysian lamb curry pie on the Gold Coast, also the have different quiches, pasties and cakes. You can eat in or take away, also take cold pies and heat them when you get home.

Goldsteins has a number of shops around the Surfers area. Most shops service mainly the take away trade but also have seating where you can enjoy their food. They are a tradition in the area and all their food is of excellent but they are famous for their pies which are always of a very high standard.

Goldsteins must be doing something right because they started out in 1944 and are now in most big shopping malls/plazas on the Gold Coast. When you taste one of their large variety of pies, whether meat or chicken, and with so many variations ("beef and beer", with or without peas, gravy) you're confronted with agonising decisions. Of course there are... More
