I have eaten at a lot of restaurants in Santorini and this has to be the WORST food we have come across. 2 members of our party of 4 were advised to have a fish platter. The waiter said he would make it specially and it wasn't on the menu. What arrived was a large squid that looks like it... More

Boring and tasteless.... Avoid it cause there are no surprises here besides the bad quality of food.

We had mix fish platter which was delicious and really big. This is a family tavern that serves local Santorini food and Great fresh fish. We were there in July 2015 two couples and we realy enjoyed it.

We ordered fried mushrooms and cheese to start. The mushrooms were way to salty! Fried cheese was fine. Seafood spaghetti was ok but not fantastic the chicken souvlaki ok but the worst I've tried since arriving in Santorini. Nice live Greek guitar playing in the background. Not good enough for a return visit.

Captain Nikitas: Thomas and friends were great fun; so much so we went 3 times. Lovely atmosphere enjoyed by the whole family. Good food and plentiful - thanks Thomas for the Raki!!!! P.S. Hope the cat is doing ok!

Went to the Greek night and they had no lamb chops, but recommended the lamb kleftico, which is one of my favourite dishes but was disappointed with the one I'd had just the night before at irani on the beach. But so glad I went for it not the best ever but Dam fine, dine right, irani take note!! The... More

I came to eat here and had a sub-par dining experience. We ordered the fried cheese appetizer which was virtually inedible...it was hard as a rock and extremely salty. we left the entire thing on the plate. We also ordered the fried squid which tasted like it was fried in year-old oil. I paid with my credit card and never... More

The fish on the menu and the garden setting enticed us in. We were not disappointed. We were a group of 4 and three of us shared a large fish. Can't remember what it was call but It was absolutely lovely. The waiter deboned it for us which was great. It came with a lovely lemon dressing also very tasty.... More

Went here on our last night, waiter's delightful, food super and lovely ambience. We sat outside in their lovely garden and Thomas the waiter was just great. Chatty, but not in your face, and the background music was typically Greek. We really liked it here and can recommend. Now called "taverna Nikitas" and just off the beaten track. Good respite... Everything was under the average. Even the salads. The quality was not terrible but they need someone with cooking knowledge for their kitchen!
