Some negative reviews here of late. But we experienced none of this. We enjoyed a delicious girls lunch with share plates and mains. The staff were attentive and food delicious. Would definitely return.

Very hit and miss - a brilliant weekend catching up with friends to be served cold food in an environment where other adult patrons were running amok ( physically scooting from table to table ) downing shots and sitting all over each other ( love...island meets below deck at Broadbeach ! ) After ordering , one of our guests was advised his meal would be another 4-5 min and obviously the other 3 meals were held under lamps. Cold seafood dishes that should have been hot , pasta and a salad with 3 pieces of falafel. Incredibly disappointing for a dining experience that cost over $300 to be subjected to this type of behaviour and an average standard of food - all ignored by staff but certainly noticed by other patrons. Would not go again.More

We had been recommended this restaurant while we attended the AFTA show and liked the menu options. Our waitress Nicole was a wonderful team member and our meals were fabulous ( we had the chicken and lamb ) Great atmosphere and service - we will...be back 👍 Thanks Scott & KatrinaMore

Since we were staying at the Qube close by, this seemed like a great local place to visit, having walked past it quite a few times, to see it teeming with customers. Always a good sign! Ordered the beef tartare as an entree with garlic,...pickles, mayo, wonton crisps which was really quite bland. I also went for the Seafood Linguine with prawn, calamari, clams, chilli, pernod, fresh herbs, tomato, parmesan and this was much better. The atmosphere for Koi was fun and lively. It's a really good setting. But the service was rather apathetic and slow. I think we had a new waitress but that did not bother us at all. Everyone has to start somwhere.More

Don’t bother looks good from walking past but once you go in and order not so good. steak was average ordered the sirloin med rare come out well done and than you have to pay for your sides extra so my $60 steak was terrible...kids meals are $30 and we’re just as bad I normally eat at other places on the strip and will do from now on. 6 of us ate there and I left feeling just violated and ripped off. Never again happy to pay but for the right meal.More

The food was delicious and the service great considering they were a waiter down. However, what I really want to thinks them for was their service. A small error was made with our order. Not the end of the world, but the way the waiter...handled it was honest and respectful. What was remarkable based on current service standards was that he completely owned it and apologised. There were no lies, just an apology and rectification. So a great meal and great experience. Thanks very much KOI.More

The food was as per menu but the staff definitely needed better training.you do not have a dedicated waiter rather whoever is passing your table brings your meal and another waiter cleans your meal away.

Whilst the meal at Koi was above average (relative to other Australian restaurants), the service was absolutely diabolical! We seemed to be seated in a "dead zone" service-wise even though it was in the centre of a line of tables flanking the pavement. Having completed...our main course and then waiting easily 30' with dirty cutlery and crockery in front of us (notwithstanding service staff moving past us regularly), we upped and went to pay at the bar counter. What a bad impression, and for the business a truly wasted opportunity to "up sell" further courses, e.g. dessert and drinks. Granted it was Friday night of Blues on Broadbeach, so whilst things were a little hectic in the restaurant, not all tables were occupied. Better staff training and/ or more staff would have solved the problem. During our meal, what appeared to be the restaurant supervisor and a staff member arrived to rearrange an immediately-adjacent table from 2 seats to 3 seats, and in so doing plonked two of the chairs almost upon us without any explanation or apology. Very unprofessional. Fortunately the table wasn't occupied before we left or else it would have been very uncomfortable.More

Mothers Day Lunch with the family. Food disappointing. Sand Crab Lasagna bland and burnt around the edges, Ragu gnocchi just ok. Service and entertainment was good but so many better places with lovely food in the area so not good enough for the price. We...won’t be returning.More

Very busy night and the service was good but I would have been embarrassed to serve up the pasta dishes …. They were dry and tasteless and the only meal on the table that was good was the steak …. Expensive and overrated!!!

I have been a strong supporter of this restaurant for many years, today I called in for a quick special lunch and cold drink. There was no service, there was no respect, my quick meal order was placed on hold for an unknown reason. After...47 mins I enquired on my order as the kitchen staff were standing around drinking beer. Just zero professionalism and one person saying sorry repeatedly. We received our burgers raw and left. Never to return.More

Great food , the lamb riblets and pomegranate yogurt were delicious together with the deep fried cauliflower in honey . Yummy . Efficient and friendly staff made for a very nice experience. Nice vibe .
