Well the menu sounded great, very good selection to choose from! We checked in using the covid app but no one was checking if customers did it or not. Staff were wearing masks around their chins and manager walking around with mask in pocket. Not...good environment to sit in and eat our meal. All the signs around said people must follow the rules and mandatory check in but they arent following the mandatory rules here! My husbands meal came and his drink and then 20 mintutes later we asked where mine was. Waiter walked past us after that with a meal that looked like mine and said as he walked by "this isnt yours I will check on yours next". Then walked it to another table and returned to me with it and said "this is yours". Very odd all round. My meal was nice although it was called "smoked salmon bagel" which was not a bagel but a white crusty bread roll and no spinach on it as per the menu. My husband got what he ordered and liked it. I would not go back and I certainly think people should tell you if they cant give you what the menu item says, not substitute and not bother to mention it! $40+ for two breakfasts and one drink. I would expect better food and service.More

Newly moved into the area and checking out Local cafes, So far we have had the best experience here. Friendly staff, that go above and beyond to show their appreciation for you as customer. Great food and coffee.

Waited half an hour to receive two meals wrong. Salad with chicken...paid extra but no chicken. Big breakfast, which had cold greasy sausages, cold eggs, cold toast all just thrown in a bowl. Yep, their plates are big bowls. Granted, the service wasn’t terrible. But...3rd visit in a row where the food has been wrong. Never again!!!More

Worst breakfast experience ever!!! I was wondering why they were so much quieter than the other restaurants and now I know why - worst service I’ve ever had - disgusting!!

Staying at Sofitel and as raining went down lift to Oasis centre and found Base. Best coffee we have had all week but ask for double shot. Inside or outside dining options. Crispy bacon just as requested very tasty

Always good value here, especially their big breakfasts. Can dine inside with aircon or outside. Great service too.

Absolutely terrible. Waited an hour for cold food. A little egg and 2 bits of huge toast. Just a joke.

Outside/ Inside seating. Friendly, Helpful staff, coffee excellent, food delicious, good prices, lots of choices on Menu Also liscensed. In Broadbeach Oasis Shopping Centre. Shopping then coffee or coffee first.

We went for coffee and cake Sunday afternoon and were treated to really unprofessional service. Totally unfocused when taking our order then surprise surprise, got it wrong. We are not hard to please, just want a relaxing coffee but you won’t get that here. Make...sure you don’t go late Sunday afternoon as unless there is a new staff member replacing the male who we were unlucky to encounter you might as well go to Madison’s.More

Broadbeach local and very disappointed. Ordered smashed avo w/ hommus, feta, poached eggs, etc. Sounded substantial, paid close to $20. Got 1 measly slice of barely toasted toast, a tiny smidge of hommus and a few crumbs of feta. I asked for another piece of...toast and was told, “that’s how it’s served”. Lol, OK, good luck surviving on your tiny $10 breakfasts.More

They were a little busy but i would not say flat out. Ordered drinks and food, fold came out first but drinks never came out. We asked for a refund. Food was cold, bread was like a brick.

We were looking for gluten free in the Oasis shopping centre and came across Base with Gluten free marked on the menu, we had a lovely lunch, served by the friendly team.
