The Loose Moose is a Prohibition-styled Tap & Grill House in the heart of Broadbeach. A local's favorite meet-up spot with an epic “it’s good to be bad” menu specializing in Canadian fare – ribs, wings, hotdogs and burgers - using only the finest locally sourced ingredients. Thanks to Aaron the very welcoming doorman/security man, my daughter and I have always felt at ease entering what might otherwise seem to be a very hip, very busy cool place to be.
And not only Aaron (😊) but all the other staff too, manage to always find us a seat of choice inside or out. The menu is simple but caters for most appetites, and the wait is very reasonable.
Food is great especially the burgers, and any place that serves Four Pillars Shiraz gin is a favourite of mine.
Thanks guys for a fun night.

Ordered the ribs which were very tasty and tried the prawns with the crusty bread.
Too expensive for 5 prawns and although the ribs weren't cheap either the ribs were very tasty.
Very busy place. Not sure I'd rush back unless I had a great need for ribs.

We've been at Broadbeach for the last four nights. The Loose Moose looks interesting from the outside so we went for a couple at 3.00. Helpful waitstaff, smashing ambiance, clean, relaxing and nothing to complain about from this Scot.
The price of the hamburgers is ridiculously cheap ($18 approximately) so I asked the chap with the funny haircut and earring what size the burgers are. Proper sized was the answer and we said we'd be back later. We didn't and decided on Indian which was fine but would have been better if we'd gone back to Loose Moose.
Canny really drink beer these days but I tried one of them and it was brilliant and way better than the beers sold in the James Squire pub on the next corner.
We'll be back and try the burgers.

Went as a family on a busy Wednesday night when it was nearly full. Staff were super busy and never offered us water the whole time. Crazy expensive, hubbys small steak was $44, the sauce to go with it was an extra $4, so to pay $48 for just a steak with sauce is RUDE. The meal didn't come with a salad or veges either for that price either! Chicken Budha bowl lacked flavours too.
For what the restaurant charges and for what you get.....sad!
You can go to fine dining restaurants and pay less.

Family of 5, had a good spot to eat with a view, thats it. I ordered the 350 day lot fed rump cooled medium, You should be able to cut that with a butter knife, not hack it with a angry steak knife. Sorry guys for what you charge i think it needs to be better. I have had better cuts of meat from coles.

After reading all these reviews about amazing burgers we went in with high expectations. The burgers were average at best. Patty was dry and flavorless. Charging $18 for a basic burger (cheese,lettuce,tomato,onion,patty) that doesnt include even a small side of chips or a salad....most places give you at least that if you're paying such price. Customer service was great, location also fantastic.

Was recommend to go here by a local and really enjoyed the food and drink and appreciated being squeezed in on NYE. Only disappointment was our service staff. She was nice but you could see her not getting along with one of the other waitresses and she brought over our bill without being asked and we felt like we had no choice but to leave

We love coming to the loose moose when in broadbeach. It’s nice to know the quality of their food and service has not changed over the years and they still take alot of pride in what they offer. Very generous servings, the kids meals in particular are very generous and great food. The kids bolognese was so tasty us adults ate half of it! Sliders and tacos very tasty, as are the poke bowls. Service is great too. We have had breakfast in the past there and that too was great. Thanks for another great meal we will be back

Off the back of some good reviews, I decided to pop in and see what it was like for myself.
It is situated on a corner in the centre of Longbeach offering good seating options to watch the world go by so to speak. It is also situated in an area that is full of restuarants to choose from.
Of course the centre peice of the bar is the 'Moose Head' which provides an excellent backdrop to the bar itself.
The staff were fairly attentive to customers needs and the menu offers a broad selection of food. What I found interesting is although Covid appears to becoming less of an issue, I did note that the wiping down tables was not a 'common practise' even after customers had vacated their table.
I went for the burger which was satisfactory although the claim that the patty willl be 'cooked pink unless advised otherwise' didn't appear to be the case for my Cowboy burger. Having said that, it wasn't overdone.
It would be great if management could consider altering the price for burgers to include fries. Unfortunately this wasn't an option and wen the cheapest fries you can get are $10 you probably get the gist of what I am saying.
All in all a good place to spend some time, have a feed or a drink, and watch the world go by.

Sadly we only tried the loose moose on our last day of holiday. Wish we'd gone for breakfast here every morning!
The interior is decked out, the food was prepared quickly and exactly as ordered, not to mention being delicious!
The staff are friendly and prompt.
Often there is live music. Loads of great food & drink at night too!
The place is very popular - now we know why!
Yum, yum, yum.

What a wonderful place to eat and chill in a great atmosphere. It was our wedding anniversary and we enjoyed dining here with a craft of delicious well balanced and garnished red sangria. Who needs white linen service when you can eat Kentucky buffalo wings, crying tiger beef, jalapeño poppers. It was a toast to a variety of experiences we had across the world and our time together over 15 years. We couldn’t make a booking, so we took a chance and accepted a 40min wait reservation and was seated in 20 mins. We took a walk around near by and didn’t mind waiting as we had lunch at 2pm. We were seated in front of the bar and enjoyed watching the wait staff shake and make cocktails with a bit of flare. It took a little while to be served but when we were our server was polite, apologetic and took care of everything. Food and drinks were served promptly. Cheers! To you and we look forward to coming back here again soon.

Such a shame as this place is great. But the staff have issues. The last 3 times I have taken friends there we have been presented with unpleasant staff after issues with our order. I won’t go back. Burgers are good, but nothing special, for the price! I know it’s Broadbeach, but you’re just selling beer and burgers.

When we arrived as guests of a booked business function we were rudely and repeatedly barred from sitting at any of the nearest empty tables as the manager told us they needed to left empty so street traffic would not be deterred from entering, despite there being nowhere else for many of us to sit. A junior waitress discreetly helped us out in finally organising some drinks and food. Husband felt like he was drinking home brew and the food was very ordinary and over priced for what it was. We felt highly embarrassed for our host as he was hosting over 40 people so I’m not sure how much you have to spend to get some service! No-one I spoke to was interested in ever returning because of the attitude of the manager and how rudely he treated us

We ate here post my daughters graduation on a Thursday lunchtime between 12-3 and ordered 5 items from the specials. When it came to paying the bill we were charged full price for these items. On querying the charge we were informed that the specials price did not apply during school holidays…. This is not advertised anywhere and was certainly not mentioned when we were ordering. No mention on the website either. Not happy.

The atmosphere was great, service was great.
My daughter had ribs and they were plentiful at $35
I had the smaller steak avail (scotch fillet) at $40 this was disappointing. It came out on an empty plate with 3 pieces of grilled tomato and the pepper gravy had no flavor and was runny. Think they need to re-evaluate this dish itself it was to expensive for what you got. However i would visit again and try something else.
