Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First time eating here and the QR code was very slow us was the net. Had the vego burger and was good. No burger falling apart. The staff are very friendly. Also the prices for two were good with only a bit expensive because of...the cocktails.More

Nice venue but food is very ordinary and expensive. I paid $46 for a tough sirloin steak that came with a single tomato cut in half and slapped on the grill for 10 seconds.More

A nice casual place to park up and enjoy good food, there is something on the menu for everyone, the cocktails are very good, especially the margaritas. Super friendly staff, probably because she was a Kiwi! Would happily dine here again.

Came here first a Monday lunch but surprised it didn’t open till noon but still came back here after a walk nearby. Beers aren’t cheap with an Asahi $15+ for a small draft beer but the food was tasty and reasonable price. The staff are...friendly and the layout nice. Would be good here in a larger group I feel.More

Poor service, bar closed at 2030, no notice. Staff rude when only QR menu. Really disappointed with this venue. Light turn on at 2115 and staff hinting at customers to leave.

Definitely not cheap and the food serve size was significantly smaller than I expected for the price. I tried a few beers from the many on offer but left two half finished. None of them seemed to have a head on them. Not sure if...it’s the style or the glasses.More

We have visited every Fathers Day and on my dads birthday (twice a year as a family) for several years. Each visit the last few times it’s gone a bit downhill but we kept returning in the hopes it was a one off, but this...was the last time. Used the QR code on the table to order but get charged a fee for it every time you order. PLUS a Sunday surcharge. Turns an $11 beer to $12.10. All those drinks and all that food adds a lot of extra dollars onto an already pricey menu. Not to mention the portion sizes for what you pay are a joke. We buy several plates to share as the afternoon goes on and found we ordered more than ever before because we were still hungry! Good money grabbing exercise at the time however you’ve just lost 6 locals not to mention the word of mouth from us. Shame. Our tradition for my dad is now out the window and we’ll have to start with somewhere more reasonable.More

Fathers Day for brunch. Not a breakfast menu item to be seen, more of a daytime snack/meal offering and a bit expensive too for a nothing out of the ordinary hot dog - for the price you’d think it would be twice the size. Okay...if you just want a drink I guess but then that’s another story on the sizes you can orderMore

A very poor experience, service was just ok, with the odd waitress that did show some interest. The food however was not ok. The expensive Burger I chose was very unappetising , sort of build you own on the plate . Burger meat was dry...and dense , bun was similar, the little bit of lettuce and onion was just that , a little bit . I noticed 2 others at our table , not finishing there burgers, so I’m sure i wasn’t the only disappointed This was the only disappointing meal we had during our 4 day visit to the Gold Coast staying @ The LanghamMore

TLDR: excellent food, but perhaps a certain member of the waitstaff could perhaps be a little more hospitable. We (5 adults) went in on a weekday night for an early (17.00-ish) dinner - they were able to seat us as walk-ins. The maitre d' was...very accommodating, even switching us to a different table as one of our party members felt uncomfortable on the high back-less stools. Food was reasonably quick to arrive and absolutely delicious. We ordered: - Lamb ribs starter - very tender and delicious - Buffalo wings (maple and sriracha glaze) - tasty, but overshadowed by our other orders - Steaks (medium and medium-rare all cooked exactly as ordered, beautifully charred) with a fantastic gravy (easily one of the better ones I've tasted whilst dining out) + sides (beer-battered chips and sweet potato fries) - Full rack of BBQ pork ribs - fall-off-the-bone tender and smoky We were all very impressed by the quality of the food. Unfortunately, a damper to our evening was the waitress looking after us. Nothing out of the ordinary happened at the beginning of the service. But towards the end of our meal, she started trying to clear away plates even when some of us were still finishing up our food (the restaurant was still half empty at this point). As we walked out of the restaurant, when I nodded and smiled, and said thank you, she gave me a glare. I was a a little taken aback but brushed it off. Then later a member of my party told me she asked if we had paid the bill as they left (which we had). I'm unsure what led to this reaction, but can only speculate that perhaps we did not look like their usual patrons.More
