Take a drive down to Ponce Inlet for a great spot for drinks or food. Lots of history here also. The gift shop seems out of place, but the overall atmosphere is fun and laid back.

Although the day was cold and blustery, our waiter Mike was very friendly and provided excellent service. The Happy Hour appetizers and drinks were nicely priced and very good. This bar/restaurant on Racing's North Turn is a must see when you are in Daytona!

Had fish'n'chips which were good and crispy. Husband had seafood mac'n'cheese which was a large portion. Service was ok. We chose a table inside, since there were people smoking on the deck. But, the smoke still blew in, not making for a great experience.

That’s what my husband said as we left this historic spot with fun decor commemorating the first Daytona Beach race track’s dangerous North Turn. Fantastic crab dip! As Seattle natives who catch and cook crab regularly, we are super critical of crab dishes. I asked...More

Description
Racing's North Turn is located on the beautiful Atlantic ocean. We offer a 5000 sq ft Oceanfront deck with and air conditioned inside dining room. The restaurant sits on the exact location where Nascar ran it's first sanctioned Grand National race in 1948 until 1958. The walls are lined with vintage photos of racing days gone by and our current racing heroes of today. We offer a full service bar with great views of the ocean and over 25 flat screen televisions with all you favorite sporting events. Each night we have Live music that starts at 6:00 PM.
