A very good cafe with good food and good service. We had fish, chips and salad. The fish was terekihi and beautifully cooked. It was on a Thursday night at 6.00 with very few people. It deserves more. The waiter was very pleasant and obliging.

Barman was friendly enough but the place lacks any atmosphere and looks pretty tired. The menu was totally uninspiring so we had a drink and moved on. This place needs some work.

Had lunch here during a day trip to the wine country from Wellington. Although the building was nicely renovated, the interior lacked atmosphere. Service was friendly and food OK.

Grand building on the outside and great food. Menu has all the main food groups. Bread and dips was awesome. Mains were also good, great sauces for the lamb shanks and chicken. Interior is a bit stark, looks like it turns into a dance club...More

With the outdoor area, this is a great place for a drink and a snack in the sun. Looking forward to summer.

Tried the garlic cob as an entree, very nice, then had a steak as a main. Verry filling and great flavours. Definitely going back, warm and inviting atmosphere.
