We arrived after a long dark trip from Rotorua, via SH30, on route to New Plymouth yesterday evening, Tues 16th, and although we arrived just before closing time, the waitress and chef cooked us up delicious burgers and toasties. Very pleased with the fare and would definitely come back, Didn't catch the young blond waitress' name, but she went above... More

Stopped here for lunch and enjoyed the huge home made pies. This is an old-fashioned 'diner' style place with booth seating. The seemed to be a big range of meals on the menu, and those we saw brought out looked like generous portions. The toilets were clean and well looked after, this is always a plus for us when passing... More

Just gone under new management but overall hasn't changed much since my last visit 3 years ago. Friendly staff, parking available and reasonable takeaway menu. Toilet facilities... More

We have eaten here on several occasions and definitely would go back for their beef or chicken burgers, and endless tea and coffee.

Sustanance only. Was told by a local they had good fried chicken which interested my wife. It was not good. I had tough lamb chops, which were hard to cut. Try someplace else rather than eating here
