Home cooked comfort food in Kyparissia.

We walked 500 m south from our Kyparissia Beach Hotel searching for a vegetarian lunch and this nameless restaurant was the answer. A family affair with the women cooking in the kitchen and the men serving in the dining room. We were provided a menu with English then shown some food pots to ensure translation. After making our choices, wonderful bread was followed by a lemonade and a local Fix beer, then bowls of Aubergine and Arakas laderos. The home cooked comfort food made a delicious and filling meal for $20. Patio dining to the side. Across the street we found dessert at Seráno; 2 chocolate waffle cones for 3 euros.

Wonderful traditional Greek cuisine

Did you travel to Greece 20 plus years ago? The Greek cuisine then was all about tradition. In the ensuing years things have become more complicated as more and more restaurants have looked to add a modern twist. We have no problem with this and have enjoyed some fabulous meals in many contemporary restaurants. But don't you sometimes just yearn for the simple, hearty food of the past? We found it tonight at Paramithaki. All the food was faultless. Full of flavour and with wonderful use of fresh herbs. Would thoroughly recommend. We will be returning.

Great Traditional Food

I went to Paramithaki with my family. The food was delicious and the portions were generous.The place was lovely and the staff were very kind and attentive. We highly recommend this place.

Greek cuisine just like mom would make

We have been eating here for over a decade. It is a nice family run Greek restaurant with great food cooked by the mom of the family. In the afternoon they serve traditional Greek cuisine and in the evening they serve grilled dishes.

Avoid eating seafood in this restaurant

I had heard enthusiastic reviews about this restaurant. However, our experience was disappointing. No cooked food was available and we asked for some seafood, such as squids, shrimps and mackerel, which could be provided (no other choices of seafood). These were stale, overcooked, in a low quality of oil and without any taste. I dont know about meat dishes in this restaurant, but avoid seafood by any means. And this, in a place by the sea which should provide excellent seafood!

Nice home-made food at reasonable price in a very friendly environment

It is a very nice place for dinning in its shaded yard. The service is quick and excellent and the staff very friendly. Home-made greek cuisine food is served at reasonable prices. Fried potatoes, tyrolia (cheese croquettes) and zucchini fried are a must try. Some traditional greek foods (like pastitsio) are a bit too oily though.

Loved this place. It is where the locals go and serves authentic Greek cuisine with a variety of choices. Small terrace outside.

Mummys food!!!

Very nice place with handmade mummys food. Everything is daily and you can drink very cold beers in the hot days. You can eat your lunch or your dinner. A family friendly taverna.

Delicious food, great service, authentic atmosphere

The food at this restaurant is real home cooking, with shaded outdoor seating. It's my kids' favorite place to go because when we find ourselves there at off times, they always invite my kids into the kitchen to see the variety of choices. The service is great, the food is delicious and home made and the atmosphere is classic greek. We also love that they deliver! We've had them deliver lunch to us at the beach in town, and it makes for a fun lunch without having to take a break from the beach. It's always dependable - delicious food, great services, authentic atmosphere.

Real home cooking

This little gem with a lovely outdoor seating area is conveniently located near the center of Kyparissia. Go directly to the kitchen where the young lad will guide you through the traditional fare. Select, sit and savour. This was real home cooking without a doubt. The moussaka was a bit heavy on the bechamel topping and portions on the small side. Otherwise, you'll love this place.
