We ate here because of the good Trip Advisor Review, however it was somewhat disappointing. My first choice of entrée was not available, and the goat's cheese on 'toast' was somewhat bland and tasteless. The butter salmon was very overcooked and had no taste at all...not even of butter, and the accompanying vegetables were so overcooked they had turned to... More

Our party of six enjoyed a very nice meal. We chose steaks, cassoulet, and beef bavette. Prompt service and a very pleasant atmosphere. Recommended.

We were given a lovely table for six family members and the son of the owner personally served us and made suggestions about the Menu as well as the Wine List. We were not disappointed and we sent our special thanks to the chef for a meal well prepared and presented. The son spoke English but the parents only speak... More

Just a quick review on this restaurant which is part of the Hotel by the same name. We had an excellent meal here. It may be a little pricier than some of the other places we ate sole traveling down the Canal du Midi but we did not feel taken advantage of. I had the regional specialty Cassoulet which was... If you've read my separate review of the hotel, you would be aware of the intent to dine at le Tirou, unfortunately still on holiday, which is why we fortunately ate at Clos Fleuri. With eyes only for cassoulet (search for the holy cassoulet continues) we opted for versions of "le menu" and was helped by madame host with generous... More

The staff were polite and friendly. We went for à la carte which was a mistake. The fish combination was obviously frozen and one piece was not cooked at all in the middle and left on the plate. We said nothing as there plenty to eat but disappointed the didn't comment. The steak tartar was poorly presented and do it... More

In August everyone eats outside for dinner as the sun goes down and the patio area is secluded and beautiful. The service is great and staff friendly and speak adequate English. While I was a bit disappointed with the chef's specialty: the cassoulet maison (too many beans, only one sausage, good-size duck's leg, sauce not flavourful enough for my perhaps-jaded... More
