The coffee was traditionally Thai coffee, sweetened by sugar and condensed milk, very tasty. We had Vietnamese noodle soup and fried egg with typically local pork sausage. The breakfast was very tasty for two days but we got tired of it. But I think one...should visit this place once while in Ubon.More
Like, seriously? Why is this the place ppl always come to have breakfast. IMHO, there are a lot of places that serve better breakfast in Ubonratchatani and you wouldnt have to wait or find a parking spot. Their panned fried eggs were alright tho but...I really don't like their congee nor their soup.
For the first timer: they will serve you Patongko (Thai churros) with condensed milk and charge you if u eat those so you can just leave em there but the hot tea is free.More
Hmm... such a clowdy place to have a breakfast. But the service is fast ! I got my table as soon as I asked, got my breakfast within 3 minutes after ordered. Nice taste and cheap cost.
55 THB for pan egg, bread and coffee.
It has been 2 years since my last visit and it is hard to believe but this place is even busier now! Even had a tour bus drop off 60 passengers at 6.30am while I was there.
Service and food is just as good as...before. Prices don't seem to have moved. People watching is even better then before!
To the previous reviewer who gave it 1 star because there was no English menu - please go and purchase a life. Just point to what someone else is having that looks good to you and the delightful staff will be more then happy to oblige.More
Found this on tripadvisor and wanted to try some local tucker. Breakfast should always be satisfying and we we indeed satisfied, we had the omelet with the the chinese sausage and bread. Then you top it off with a good strong Thai sweet coffee and...you should be set for a few hours. Its always full with locals and sometimes you may even have to wait for a seat, but this is a good sign.More
When ever I am in Ubon I always try and get to this place at least once for breakfast. My last visit was after a 10km run through the streets of Ubon with my brother dodging crazy dogs and a very crazy locals as well!...The Khao Dtom soup is always briallant and a perfect way to start the day. The place is always heaving with customers and it is an amazing place to people watch.
Good food, cheap and with free entertainment. Why wouldn't you go?More
