Enter into the restaurant greeted by young girl who took my order, after repeating it twice she managed to get it wrong! She sat at the counter eating food abs was more interested in feeding herself! Really unprofessional to say the least In the current...times customer service is key as well as the food I won’t be coming back I will spend my money elsewhereMore

Wanted to eat vegetarian and the Spago was right next to the hotel - what luck. We actually prefer Thai food in Thailand, and our experience with European cuisine in Thailand, especially the Italian cuisine, is not the best... We were positively surprised. The bruschette...was like in Tuscany, the pasta like in Emiglia Romagna and the pizza like in Naples. Chianti Classico from Antinori at a very fair price for Thailand. Attentive service that took good care of us. What more do you want when you go to eat Italian food 10000 kilometers from Italy?More

Have eaten here a few times, the service is pretty good, but the times that i've eaten in the restaurant I've been the only one so the vibe has just been dead. Pizzas are nice, but decided to order a couple pasta dishes this time...for delivery. Came quickly but both dishes were just inedible and I'm not even normally a picky person. The aglio olio was just a congealed mass of pasta and parsley basically and had no flavour. And I don't even know what to say about the gnocchi. It was supposed to be a baked gnocchi - gnocchi, tomato sauce and mozzarella. I don't know what they were thinking but what they gave me was chopped up boiled eggs, chopped up boiled potatoes (I think) and then mixed with a few pieces of gnocchi covered in tomato sauce and mozzerella...!? Never have I ever had gnocchi with bits of boiled egg in and I NEVER want to eat it again. It was absolutely disgusting and the whole thing just tasted like egg! Don't know if it was a mistake or somebody just lost their mind whilst cooking it but this alone has put me off ever going there again! I would genuinely love to know if this was actually intentional and if so, they should change the description because nowhere does it tell you to expect boiled egg in your dish! Anyway, like i said, the pizza is pretty good, so if you do decide to go here, just stick to the pizza!More

I had a pasta dish and side salad. It was a small serving and like many restaurants in Thailand serving western food, they never seem to quite get it right and there is always the price premium for western food.

If this is the number 3 restaurant in Ubon then I must have gotten an off night. My Thai wife likes lasagne and when I saw only spinach lasagne, I asked the waiter for the classic beef lasagne and he said they only had pork....Huh? They have beef on other dishes so are they trying to save a buck even at foreigner prices,? Ok then, go with the spinach. It arrives a mass of cheese with no tomato based sauce at all and my wife could not eat it. Now I judge an Italian restaurant on its risotto - hard to do a good one and very difficult to do a super one. So I ordered chicken and mushroom risotto. It arrives another mass of cheese with some rice below. The chicken is rubbery and the mushrooms almost tasteless, The service was barely there,Thai indifferent style and after we placed our order there was zero attention. The best thing about the whole deal was the New Zealand Pinot Noir. I see good reviews for the pizza, some guys next to us ordered a pizza and I was startled at the stingy topping. Maybe I got their cheese. Not to my taste at all - threadbare service and avalanche of cheese. Hard to justify the prices, Oh and the mural is nice.More

My partner and I really wanted to enjoy a decent pasta/pizza before leaving Ubon, and the quite stellar reviews on TA made us want to visit, and we realised that we wouldn’t have that long to eat there as they would close at 10pm, and...so we ordered in advance and arrived at 2120, delighted that our food was ready to eat upon arrival. HOWEVER. My partner (Thai) felt very uncomfortable as the waitresses kept looking over to see if we had finished eating so that we could be shown the door, indeed I also felt that they were in a hurry to get rid of us, and to be frank, although the food was pretty good, the service was lacklustre and perfunctory. I used to run one of the most successful cafes in the UK, and if it meant staying around while customers finished their meals, then so be it, BY ALL MEANS close your doors to new comers at 10pm, but don’t make the existing customers feel that their taxi home is more important than the customer’s eating out experience. For example, I asked, at our meal’s conclusion if they had tiramisu, and the waitress said ‘yes, but we are closed now’ How long does it take to eat a Tiramisu? It was a lost opportunity to get an extra 300 baht or whatever it cost... Poor.More
