Our Sunday night dinner was ok. As one of the few places open in Teguise the restaurant was busy. The decor and ambience was very pleasant and, having read previous reviews, we had high hopes as we sat and waited to be served. The waiters were eager to please, but service was erratic. At the end of our meal we... More

One of the best meals we had during our trip in Lanzarote and well away from package tourist-ville! Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. We had several meals here for lunch and dinner and all were consistently good.

We loved this place on a recent visit to Teguise. It's so gorgeous, with tables outside on the cobbles and a secret garden inside, which would be lovely in the evening. Service is, erm, pretty laid back. We waited over 15 minutes to order but we were happy, so no matter. Others sat down and left without ordering due to... More

Modern concept with everything from Tapas to burgers, which looked lovely. Excellent wine list. Open all day, you can drop in for coffee or cake, or a glass of wine. Slightly draughty the night we went, so sat with my jacket on, also very busy. Wise to book if you can.

Took a day trip to Teguise and found this place for lunch. Shared an excellent deli board of cheese and meats served with olives and chillies and delicious bread. A great selection of local craft beers and friendly and helpful staff. Stylishly designed and in a prime spot to relax in the Canarian sunshine! They also have an indoor garden... More

Good tapas and beer (great selection of beer from the canary islands). Lovely setting in an old building in Teguise

Leisurely lunch after looking at Teguise. Followed lonely planet recommendation and it wasn't wrong. Shared a tabla board of local produce then delicious almond ice cream type dessert. Good ethics on food, local wines, craft cider and beer (except the magners which seems out of place) . Pleasant atmosphere in the ancient building. Service good but it should be a... More

We have been twice to this restaurant this holiday, and have been here two years ago too - it is excellent every time and we will keep on coming here too!! We had two very different occasions- the first was with my mum and aunt and we shared one of the platters, the meat and cheese and everything was delicious... More

Delicious food, with fantastic service in a great setting. We visited on a Sunday which is market day in Teguise, so it is very busy. However, the staff were great, found us a table and accommodated us well with a baby. The waiter took time to recommend dishes and even the wine too. And each of his recommendations were spot... Went to La Cantine with my family after seeing it and thinking it looked good at the Sunday Teguise market. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, with a relaxed atmosphere and excellent waiting staff. The food however was very average; my husband had fish of the day, I had a burger, the children ate from the kids menu. None of... More
