Cafe Del Mar was dead. So happy we came here in closing season. Incredible sunset and atmosphere. Only negative is the prices which is to be expected.

A totally horrendous experience and we refused to stay. We got a sea front table . . . The menu brought to us. We simply wanted two pints / bottles of Lager . . . However not on the drinks menu. We looked . ..... Water at €10, A simple Cocktail €20 - As Bottled Lager wasn’t mentioned we left. Thank God we didn’t eat at apparently €150 minimum per head !! FFS, are these Michelin Chefs ?? Looking at the reviews, clearly not. The hype of watching the sun go down can be gained from thousands of other locations, even the beach next to this place. I’m devastated for the younger clubbing generation being taken for a ride with utterly ridiculous charges. The teen generation having the utter p*** taken out of their holiday budget for sitting in a over hyped place. Better bringing your own drinks, have your pic taken outside and then sitting on the wall / beach !!More

Food was amazing, me and my boyfriend both ordered steaks and they were cooked perfectly. The only issue we had was that I ordered a medium steak and my boyfriend ordered medium rare, when they brought it out they gave us the steaks the wrong...way around and only realised half way through us eating, this was easily sorted with a glass of Prosecco on the house! Fab views and the dj was amazing!! Be mindful this resturant is a little bit more on the expensive side, there was a €100 min spend per person, but we didn’t struggle to spend that as the steaks alone were €36 and cocktails were €20 very worth it thoughMore

Really really disappointed after our visit to Mambo. Been here several times but this time the food was dreadful. Two of our party ordered the rump steak and it was completely inedible. We simply couldn't cut through the meat due to a large fatty lump...of gristle like connective tissue right in the middle of BOTH our steaks Now when you are in a restaurant with a minimum spend of 150 euros per head, this just shouldn't happen. The waitress didn't question why we had both left a substantial piece of steak which again was rather disappointing. Come on Cafe Mambo, you need to bring the standard up to match the prices you are commanding.More

This spot is so lovely to watch the sun set , the views are amazing and drinks are lush and lots of variety. However, considering the €150 minimum spend per person to sit outside on the terrace, I was expecting a lot better service and...food. The food was VERY average, the €37 calamari was way over cooked and the €40 steak ,with no sides included, wasn’t cooked how requested (3 of us all agreed who ate the steak) and barely any flavour aside from heaps of salt. The mash was really runny and gravy watery too. I would definitely return for a drink but barely think it’s worth it when you can sit on the beach with your own.More

SHOCKED AT THE VILE DECORUM of staff and manager. Had a drink brought to the table with some kind of white substance inside of it. The manager refused to make any apology and spoke to us disgustingly… (Wether or not cafe mambo or a guest...was responsible you’d expect some grace and decorum about the situation) Vile!More

To start the place is the perfect spot on the island to catch a sunset! Ambar went above and beyond to make our night absolutely perfect, could not have asked for better service. Honestly the entire staff were fantastic I wish I would have gotten...all their names, to the english guy who lives in Cayman to the pretty girl with the braided pigtails, everyone was just great. Wonderful lively atmosphere with world class DJs. If you’re looking for a good time in Ibiza you absolutely MUST go! But make sure to make a reservation and it’s a hot commodity! Will definitely go back next time I’m here! 10 out of 10 would recommend! 👌🏻More

We didn't realise we were staying close to here and we're looking for somewhere for bunch, as was quiet we thought why not! We stood for ages to be acknowledged by a member of the team and I said hello to a waitress 2nd to...be totally ignored, I turned to my sister and said shall we sit there pointing to a Seaview table which the waitress laid into be about how I can't just walk in and sit where I want and I had to be speak to her first, which I replied I did twice and was ignored, she then agreed we could sit at that table. We looked at menu, in that time another waiter can over who was very very nice (thank god!) We ordered a couple of breakfasts and cocktails, then another couple of cocktails. The rest of the staff were really nice, the breakfast was amazing and the cocktails were also very yummy. Abit pricey compared to other places but your paying for the view and the name, we walked back through in the evening which was crazy busy, I'd recommend going morning / early afternoon, wouldn't bother paying the stupid prices in evening to watch sunset as around corner are some nice placed with same view at half the price with no minimum spend. Glad we went to say we have been and would probably stop again if quiet buy wouldn't go out my way to go.More

Fantastic service from Jane the Scottish lady with a dog. Upon arrival Jane made us feel so welcome and relaxed took our order and was very attentive coming back often to check all was OK. We had sweet potatoes , warm pitta bread and humus...with our Proseco . The views over the sea was fantastic although we didn't see the sunset there as we had dinner reservations elsewhere but we highly recommend. Infact after dinner we came back for a late drink when the DJ was on. The atmosphere and staff were fantastic. If you can go there for sunset don't hesitate. The view is to die for!. We will be going back next time .More

We had a table at the front for the full evening for sunset. Really enjoyed the full evening - we all enjoyed our food, cocktails were well made, and the staff were really friendly. This all added to the overall experience and made for a...brilliant night for our full party. The only slight downside is the ladies toilets - very few (2 or 3) cubicles with huge queues. Given the prices everyone’s paying, a little comfort would’ve been nice!More

Not worth £80 u can get the view for free from rocks next to mambos or any area in San An (grab a few beers or wine) and listen to the music in the walkway. If it’s the music you want
