This restaurant is a real money trap. The menu contains mainly dishes sold by weight, not by plate. First of all the prices per kg are fairly higher than most restaurants in the neighbourhood. But also the calculated weight is not at all correct (I...think they include the plate weight) and the portions that are offered are much too large for the party. We were a party of 8 persons. At arrival already two very small plates of Jamon Serrano were on the table. We know the Portuguese system that you have to pay for it. But 25.00€ is not the price that you expect for such small plates. We ordered 3 different starters (Crab, Percebes, Ameijoas) to share and they succeed to serve (or in any case to invoice) 5.8kg of starters for a value of 234.90€!!! Same with the main dish: served (or in any case invoiced) 3kg of Arroz marisco for 7 persons (135.00€).. Total food price for 8 persons (without wine): 486.85€ or more than 60.00€ per person for an ordinary diner, not a gala or a gourmet menu. The more, they take more reservations than there are places in the small restaurant implicating continuously table and chair moving and people waiting standing. So that there is no quit for the whole diner and your sitting space is too small to be comfortable. To go to the toilet half of the guests have to move. And as a bonus you get a very unfriendly, rude and boorish service by one of the waitresses.More

Really good first time experience, food was great, the service was great. The size of the restaurant is deceiving in terms of “don’t judge and book by its cover”, it is pricey but we enjoyed it thoroughly.

I am writing this review as soon as i left the restaurant. This has got to be the best meal I have had in a restaurant in the past few years. Really tasty food, flawless service and great hosts. We had 4 dishes and share...them between us and all were delicious. The table next to us had some fish cooked in salt and the looks made me want to take a seat with them. Left the restaurant so happy, even though I am still packing the meals from Xmas 2 days ago. Absolutely brilliant!More

This is a small restaurant down a side street. Good to book if you can. Very fresh seafood and competent service. We messed up our order and they put it right without any fuss. Used by the locals. Would have got a five but the...fish soup was not the best....More

My husband had two beautiful pieces...of hake. Cooked to perfection. We had warm bread and olives as a starter The counter was full of wonderful seafood, lobsters, crabs etc.More

Not cheap, but the quality worth it! We ordered arroz de marisco that was more than enough for both of us!

The food is amazing, fish and shell food all great. Wine options are also really good. Place is small, well decorated. Family run business with great service and excellent suggestions.
