Amazing food, but nothing compared to the friendliness and hospitality of the owners and staff! Portuguese steak is incredible and cheaper than what we are used to over in Lagos. Main, small starter and drinks all around for around 16 euro per head - can't complain at all!!! (Enjoy your post-dinner shots....!)

Located about 10 minutes’ walk west of Praia da Rocha, Servi-Vau offers an average proposition in terms of food and service. As in most places in Algarve on the summer, you should expect to wait at least 20 minutes for the food (if you’re lucky). We ate Arroz à Pescador (rice with seadfood, mostly squid…) and Bacalhau à Braz (codfish... More

Wonderful rustic place. No high class fancy restaurant, but a place where the locals eat. So you know, they have good food. The owner is friendly and speaks English but he seamed a bit busy. Must be because the Portugal soccer team just reached the semi-finals of the European Championship after winning the penalty kicks The food is just great,... More

They also have tables outside although it is on a main road, but still nice. Service very good and friendly. We shared a fish platter which included salmon, bass, shrimps and most delicious perch.

My wife and I ate a wonderful meal at this quaint spot away from the busy, touristy beach city center: excellent fish soup (light clam juice, tomato base, chunks of fresh white fish, noodles, cilantro and spices...), grilled bream / dorado (salted, garlicky, and cooked perfectly), and grilled chicken kabob with pineapple and vegetables. The service was great: friendly, comfortable,... More

Very clean and friendly staff. Most of specials were gone which was disappointing. Spotlessly clean. Good value for money

Great food. The garlic carrots are great. The family have run the business for 30 years and are very friendly and welcoming. Have been eating there for years and never had a bad meal. Take cash cause they don't take cards.

On our second holiday to Praia Da Rocha we had to return to Servi Vau, to be welcomed back with open arms by the owner Manuel! Again the food was excellent and we visited numerous times during our stay. Would especially recommend soup to start, the piri piri chicken and lamb chops. And can't forget the garlic carrots which were... More
