This was such a disappointment. The menu is huge - always a slight worry - and there is little atmosphere in the restaurant. My wife had a pasta dish which was quite good and I ordered a seafood risotto. It was not good. The rice was long grain rice, probably easy-cook, and surely any self-respecting Italian chef knows that you... More

This little restaurant is located by the seaside next to a hotel. Four of us arrived for dinner with reservations on a Monday evening (many restaurants are closed on Mondays). Our waiter was pleasant but rather aloof and gave us the impression he didn't want to be there. The other wait staff were helpful. We ordered an appetizer, salad, and... More

Nice restorant near the seaside, where you can try most popular sicilian meals. The service is friendly and open, but the quality of food is mostly "touristic" - not bad, but not very good. There you can try pasta with sea urchins and pasta siciliana. But you'd better not offer the parmigiana - it is the worst I've ever tried.

We came across this restaurant on our first evening in this beautiful resort, having already eaten at another (quite disappointing) restaurant. It was really busy, so we booked for our second evening. At 7.15, we were the first to sit down and we chose the covered courtyard at the front. The setting is good-just across the road from the beach,... More

On the evening of our visit, both the service and food were so bad. We all have our off days, but the man who served us seemed to have been specially trained in the art of being an utterly dreadful waiter. 1. Greet your guests as if they were from another planet that you have no interest in. 2. Avoid... More

We and our friends ate here every night for about a week. It was right by, and associated with, our hotel. Once we tried it we didn't bother trying anywhere else. The food is simple, it's cheap and is always nicely cooked and presented. The portions are large as well. The staff were always helpful and attentive, nothing was too... More

We were going to eat in our Villa but the electricity tripped and we had to go out to find a phone. We decided to eat in the Scirocco as the villa owner recommended it. They let us use their phone to call help. Also accepted calls back for us. Really helpful friendly staff. We had pizza, calzone and risotto.... More
