Do walk up the short hill on via Nicolaci for this excellent restaurant and small museum. They have indoor and outdoor seating where the chair legs are adjusted to accommodate the slope. The interior is cool and enticing. We had two pasta dishes, one with tomatoes, basil and pine nuts, the other with eggplant and ricotta. Both were very tasty,... More

Good tasty food, drinks a bit more pricey than usual, characteristic setting inside a cantina looking at the famous balconies

What can we say. The antipasti was terrific, the mains were excellent as was the wine. The service, the atmosphere and the value were all great. This is what all Sicilian restaurants should aspire to. If you are visiting Noto make sure you eat here you won't regret it.

Very good food and amazing wine. Just in front of the Palazzo Nicolaci. The waiter was super nice and helpful. I loved the old pictures and in general the restaurant is very nice! A terrace could be nice.

My husband and I ate lunch here whilst staying in Noto. Everything about this restaurant is excellent. One can eat either inside or outside. We chose a huge antipasto dish to share followed by sardines to share as we were nearly bursting from the delicious starter. We will definitely eat here again. It stays open at lunchtime until 3pm which... More

We ate here twice during our 2 week stay in a property just outside Noto. Eating at tables outside on the lovely street with the beautiful balconies of the Palazzo Nicolaci to look at was very special. The service is friendly and although the menu is small there is adequate choice and also some special dishes that vary are in... More

Food, history, family, frendship. Whatever the reviews say they are insufficient. Our best Sicilian lunch to date. The antipasto share plate, the anchovies, the baled pistachio pesto pasta were perfect and he wines (of the house) were delightful. Miss this at your peril. Right on the flower street - it must be fascinating in May.
