It opened at 7 which is early by local standards and good for us. We had typical Italian pizza and very good it was too. The square is typical also, busy, with a church at one end, and lots of hustle and bustle. A short distance from the center of town.

Great value, great service and the food is delicious . There is no pomp and ceremony but this restaurant / pizzeria is warm friendly and unpretentious ; the food is great value the Mt Etna wine is served freezing cold and has a hint of citrus in it making you feel connected to the Sicilian environment in Spring. This place... More

When you spend your time in Acireale you have to go to this place for good italian food! It was our favourite place for having pizza and pasta during our two weeks vacation in Sicily. The price is very fair and the portions are big. They don't take this anoying "copertino" which is taken in most italian restaurants for nothing!... More

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in Acireale and had the pleasure of eating here on one of our last nights in town. We ordered the eggplant appetizer and it was beautifully prepared and delicious. Wait staff was efficient. Parking in the area is virtually impossible - so it would be worth it to hoof it, as we watched... More

we had a mediocre pizza and house wine. The only good thing is that it was close to our disappointing B&B.

Nice place in piazza San Domenico, we had a good antipasto first (a mixture of fried vegetables), then we enjoyed their pizza. Pizzas with ricotta salata high recommended!!

We arrived on Saturday evening on recommendation of a receptionist at the Ibis. Despite being very busy the helpful lady at the desk eventually found us a table and we had a nice meal although the service was a little slow.

The pizza was amazing, light and crispy base, fresh ingredients and good value; service was incredibly slow (40 mins waiting for 2 pizzas is way too much), but if you're not in a hurry is worth the wait

I think HK K must have been in an entirely different restaurant from us! Having dined in a couple of other Acireale restaurants, we decided to give Al Ficodindia a try having checked their menu which extends well beyond pizza so don't be mislead by its name. Seated outside with a lovely view of Palazzo Mesmeci (hope that is the... More

We went there after a recommendation from the hotel's reception. It was the worst meal in all of Sicily, with rude haughty staff, all four entrees were not tasty and overpriced. The restaurant inside is overcrowded.
