We arrived at Sassnitz around 3pm last Saturday and most restaurants were closed during that time and luckily this place was opened. Nice meal, well cooked and presented. Service was very good. Not quite as up-market as we remembered it from six years ago e.g no steaks, but perfectly adequate never-the-less.

Shortly after my arrival in Sassnitz, I looked on TA for some good local restaurants and it looked like König Gustav was quite a good one, plus it was very close to my hotel so I went there and sat on their lovely terrace. After checking into our hotel we immediately came here for dinner. Inside it gives you the feel of a good tavern, with plenty of seats and a great atmosphere.
