Amazing restaurant, the best atmosphere!!! The staff was so pleasant and welcoming, and went the extra mile to help with food sensitivities. The dishes were really tasteful, especially the fish the risotto and the pizza. No doubt we’ll come back very soon

We stayed in Degania Bet, which was nice, but not super fancy. We saw rave reviews about this restaurant, but the modest Kibbutz environment did not lead us to believe we were in for such a culinary adventure. It's good old Italian food, but at...More

The setting is beautiful and nostalgic atthe old court of this famous kibbutz. A very good selection of meat, fish and other dishes, mainly Italian food. Fast service. Lots of room for kids.

Description
The restaurant is nested in the heart of kibbutz Degania Alef, adjacent to the Sea of Galilee. The patio faces the pastoral courtyard, surrounded by century old structures. The interior is separated into a primary dining room, complemented by the presence of a bar both comfortable and welcoming, and a romantic dining area, featuring an entire wall decorated by a wooden wine display. Upon entering the building, guests are received by an impressive authentic Italian stone-oven. For the menu, the Italian-Mediterranean kitchen features pizzas and foccacias from the stone-oven, fish and seafood, handmade pastas, and an array of colorful and modern desserts. The atmosphere is warm and homey, the waiters are well groomed and uniformed, and the service is meticulous. And in the background, a playlist from the Italian classics, through the French chanson, the bouzouki of Greece, and finally the legends of rock.
