During our stay in Lion's Head, my boyfriend and I stumbled across Rachel's--boy are we happy we did! We really enjoyed our meals and were satisfied with the prices. It was a very cute diner-style restaurant with friendly service. I would imagine it would be great for families, but I can also see it getting very busy in the tourist... More

Went for lunch. Need a bit more time than usual for lunch. Had the grilled cheese on rye and the tomato/parm soup...AMAZING! Wasn't certain about ordering the soup but it was SO GOOD.

Rachel's is open year round. Great soups and sandwich specials daily. We were in December 20,2016. We both had the beef soup and turkey pesto sandwich. Both were great and we finished off with a butter tart. I had coffee and my wife had a soft drink. Rachel has frozen entrees to take home. We have found them to be... More

We had the opportunity to sample a few things at Rachel's Bakery over a few days last week. When we walked in the door - it smelled like someone was baking - so I knew I was in the right place. I tried the strawberry/rhubarb pie and it was amazing. I also tried the roasted veg over rice with nuts... More

The curry lentil soup was to DIE for! My bf had the poutine made with homefries and my son had some too. They were loving it! We didn't realize... More

Cottage country dining. A welcome addition to the village of Lino's Head. The opening hours are unusual. They close when there is no one the there!

Stopped by to grab food to-go for hiking. Somewhat limited supply for that purpose. Their menu did have an assortment of fresh items that seemed to be updated frequently. Interior was cute/part store.

We were recently at Rachels and the food was fantastic. The salad that I had was huge, very tasty as well as filling. My daughter had the Cesar salad and she really enjoyed it. Found the restaurant was very quaint, nicely decorated with items from the 50's which was a nice touch. The baked goods and treats were a good... More
