Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My score 4.25 stars. Got takeaway for dinner from here. It was still really busy late lunchtime & would seem a bit hectic dining in (although the fresh food would make up for that). Staff were efficient & friendly enough considering how busy it was....I got Seafood Fried Kway Teow - tasty! Also got Malaysian Vego curry which came with separate rice (a sensible idea that more places should do). Great to be able to get such a tasty dish without any meat. I will return.More

We’ve eaten here often over the years at lunch and dinner. Eat in and takeaway (always nicer eat in!). The place is busy, noisy and just crazy. Very much like a hawker food centre in Malaysia or Singapore. Always a struggle to get a table...- you just have to wait patiently. Food quality and flavours are consistent and fast. They’ve had changes in kitchen staff over the years and seem to manage the quality and flavours across the changes reasonably well. We don’t believe it is exactly the same or as good as original hawker food in Malaysia/Singapore. But Grand Tofu is very very good. We come back time and time again.More

With the colder weather, it was lovely to have some decent simple Asian fare. We had the beef hor fun and the yong tau fu soup.

Ordered combination noodles online The order arrived without the noodles . Could not be bothered to drive up to the restaurant in the middle of lockdown to complain but of course will not order from them again!!!

Authentic Malaysian food! A small yet busy restaurant. Price are reasonable and food is yummy. Our all time favourite is their curry laksa with Yong Tau fu. Highly recommended!

Located in busy Kingsway dining precinct in Glen Waverley. Delicious and nice quick food with an extensive menu you can choose from. Efficient and friendly staff to serve your meal.

I read about this place on another website and decided to pay a visit. When arrived I realised there a queue to be seated but it didn’t take long before I was given a table. It’s quite busy and lively and reminded me of Jalan...Alor in Kuala Lampur - Malaysia. The food was very good, cooked mainly with fresh ingredients and at the same inexpensive and affordable. Customer service was great and all staff were really friendly despite being super busy. I highly recommend this place if you want a Chinese- Malaysian fusion dish in Glen Waverley area.More

As the title states - always a quick, easy and reliable meal. The menu is pretty extensive but always lots of good variety. Staff are efficient and friendly. Can get quite busy even at off peak times. I can recommend the combination fried crispy noodle...- oh and the portions are generous. Great local place to stop for a quick tasty meal.More

I just love this place.I am vegetarian so they have good and tasty options for veg people. Always prefer to go there. The service is really fast and serves hottest good. It did not get cool till we finish it, this is the best thing....Last but not the least, it has very reasonable price. You will feel full in less money.More

Actually, not sure what the hype is and why they are so busy. The mee goreng is only edible; the kai lan beef hor fun was so hot, it blistered my mouth. Taste is fine but doesn’t have enough wok hei for both dishes.

This was an impromptu noodle stop and as our family is vegan, we were uncertain if there would be anything on the menu for us. They do have a VERY small vegetarian section of the menu, most of which is vegan (or can be made...vegan) It got packed inside so we opted for outside seating. Inside was VERY noisy. A good spot for a quick lunch but nothing impressive that made it stand out. Fair/cheap pricing and fast food, but crowded seating and loud environment. They do give you hot tea for free while you are waiting on your orders.More

We returned to this place after 2 years as we had been away. Was so nice to return to our favourite dishes with the same authentic flavours. We had squid tentacles salt and pepper, char kway theow which was lovely and spicy and chicken and...salty fish fried rice. The food was great with generous portions. The only down side was this place is so popular it is too noisy at times. We will be back for more delicious food.More
