Dropped in for a Sunday Carvery lunch. Staff very friendly and helpful and overall the visit was worth while. The food was good value and worth it if you are passing by but I would not go out of my way to go there if I was looking for a Sunday lunch. Quite pricey for what was a basic carvery.

Perhaps it isn't limited for most tastes but for me the menu was a little limited because I'm not a big seafood fan. Perhaps a 'chefs special' could be offered each night. However my meals were always lovely. I just ate the same each night.

Had a Party there and it was a most enjoyable evening. Since I had passed by the place many times years ago I was interested to see the views over the links. Only one question, since we had ordered a expensive buffet for so many people we thought that we had paid for all the food displayed. Instead what was... More

When we arrived I asked if we could have a table near to the window as I wanted to see the brilliant view over the forth ..I was told sorry there were no tables there and they were really busy ..so we were shown to another table away from the view. Throughout our time in the restaurant those window tables... More

A pleasant country hotel wih good views across the Forth. The cuisine was average to good, but could have been more imaginative. There was a comfortable relaxed atmosphere, and a well appointed interior, with a nearby golf course. A nice place to stay.

Stopped in for lunch. Menu displayed at door wasn't the one in restuarant. Started off very positively, staff really nice, polite and smart looking. Menu, did state smaller portions, but being lunchtime this was fine. Half a slice of fish, well cooked, but half a slice!! Dessert, never had a pannacotta that was almost frozen, told waitress who took them... More
