Not sure at first I wanted to share this amazing little cafe with anyone else! It's a gem, the staff are as good as the food, warming and welcoming. From the amazing soups, through a choice of main choices to the delicious deserts everything is home cooked, fresh and well presented. Certainly not expensive and with the option to take... More

Really good coffee in handy local venue. Clean and friendly. Unfortunately too early to eat but the menu and specials looked interesting. Will go back.

You must visit the compact and bijou but perfectly formed 'Edelweiss' cafe in Carnforth! Home cooked food, freshly prepared when you order - the Goulash Soup is a hearty meal in itself. Service is friendly and quick, pity they didn't have more tables, busy lunch session so best to book ahead. Highly recommended!

This is the place to eat in Carnforth, pop in, you will not regret it, food if home cooked, Be warned seats are limited and you may need to book in advance even for breakfast, but well worth it.

I ordered a small breakfast which arrived with toast, it was absolutely delicious. The service was extremely good and the cafe was very warm and comfortable. Papers are even available to read.

I popped in here after abit of a drunken night before and just ordered the normal breakfast. My partner got a big breakfast and we were surprised with the portion! He hates to waste food but this breakfast defeated him! It tasted fantastic and was so filling! Just what we needed to cure the hang over! They have seating inside... More

I came here with my mum and Auntie Jean after visiting Carnforth station. The walls are decorated with lovely cuckoo clocks! I have always loved cuckoo clocks, and so it was lovely to eat and watch the little cuckoos pop out at various intervals. The food was lovely. The café has a lovely friendly atmosphere with a sense of fun.... More

Stopped off in Carnforth en route to Arnside for a light late lunch. We chose a toastie with our coffee and ended with a selection from the homemade cakes. Everything was fresh and delicious and the staff great. Highly recommended - well worth a visit and easily accessed from the Booths car park behind the Café.
