Nice view sitting at the terrace but there it all end. Service is not the best neither the atmosphere. The dishes are bid but the taste is far from that. Touristic food, taste is not the best. Soups we're good we had a lunch Nothing to go again

We were in Porto Moniz at lunchtime during a one day tour of the North West of Madeira. We tried the Orca restaurant and had the local fish (Scabbard) cooked two different ways. It tasted very good and at about 13€, represented excellent value for money.

We had a fish and some steak and it wasn´t very good. The service is slow and not very pleasant. I can´t recommend it.

Bit on the pricier side, but not that expensive. We had kebab, chicken, drinks and fries on the side for our child, and the table was full of tasty food for 30 euros. Also, you get a nice view of the pools and the sea.

Large restaurant with good views of the natural pools. Can get very busy with pre-booked tour buses.

There is no gentle way of explaining this visit. This was so bad. It looked like prison food. There was no taste to it. Potatos from a glas and awful smelling rice mixed with seafood also out of a can.

We'd just had a refreshing swim in the ocean fed rock pools below the restaurant and it's terrace had been crowded. We sat in the sun and enjoyed watching people bathing in and out of the water below. My wife ordered a cheese omelette. Their interpretation was a solid omelette with some cheese melted on top. I had grilled scabbard... More

Came here with the west island tour and for the extra €10 it was worth it. A nice three course meal of soup, fish, ice cream and then tea or coffee with a bottle of red and white wine and a bottle of water included. The service is quick and they do take your photo and try to sell it... More

This lunch was part of a deal on a tour - payable in advance and main meal choices made and phoned through ahead of our stop. It was excellent value and the restaurant was very geared up to large numbefrs turning up together. There was another large group a bit ahead of us and another in just before ours left.... More
