We stopped for lunch at this lovely restaurant, but boy, was it big! A huge antipasti with meats, cheese, bruschetta and couscous (I left half), first pasta of big tubes filled with wild boar (again, fantastic but I left more than half), a second pasta which I had to refuse altogether, a main of pork and roasted potatoes (I gobbled... We visited this restaurant in Pienza during November 2015, when many restaurants are either closed for the season or on a reduced schedule. Dal Falco was packed with Italian families enjoying their Saturday evening meal, so we sat in one of the back rooms and pretended to be locals. We were waited on promptly and the food came in a... Went on a recommendation from Fonti Bertusi, english is pretty sparse here which made it even more fun. Place was full of local families and really showed us how the italian culture enjoys meal time with the family, it was fun to watch. Oh, and the food was fantastic, carbonara, and wild boar stew stood out for me. The location... More

Went to Dal Falco on the recommendation of a local and was not disappointed. Arrived at 7 pm and the restaurant was already crowded. We sat in one of the back rooms which quieter and away from the soccer fans watching the game on TV near the bar. Ordered gnocchi with truffles and the tagliatelle with boar. Both were good,... the staff was friendly. very good toscan bean soup, excellent ravioli with salvia, but just decent bolognese. The atmosphere was very nice and it was one of the only places open in extra season.

After many unremarkable meals in Rome, we have finally found a gem hidden in the small streets of Pienza. Worth coming for the wild boar pasta and the grilled pecorino.

If you want to go where the locals go and where the management has not changed in more than a decade (and probably more since that is when I first came) then you MUST come here. The food is amazing and the service from the family members so perfect. The matriarch of the restaurant is a wonderful woman - totally... More

We had a very good dinner. Homade noodle pasta with guinea hens. The wine was good and the after dinner drinks were fantastic.

It was hot, and the restaurant looked cool inside and busy with locals, so we went in. Fast friendly service, simple local food (more pici) well prepared, good wine list and a line up of older and more expensive bottles on the wall. The lardo was particularly good. A nice leisurely lunch.
