Best pizza south of Siena. Amazing location best tables are on the terrace watching the sunset. Good variety of pizzas and regular Tuscan favourites all at a most reasonable cost all round.

Wonderfully warm family run bar and restaurant. Simple food - nothing fancy - but all very nicely done. Super thin and crisp pizza base, home made desserts. Great service. Oh, and amazing views.

AMAZING FOOD! They keep it very simple, classic Italian food. Pizza very thin and tasty, pasta is very good and simple would recommend for anyone wanting a simple dinner or lunch that really want to eat classic Italian food.

My favorite restaurant in Tuscany. Pici is brilliant. Cheesecake is unreal. View is stunning. Prices are great, portion sizes are decent.

La Terrazza was the restaurant chosen by our guide (Alberto Martini - Cortona Wine Tours) and Paolo Valdambrini (President of the White Truffle Association of Italy). Quite simple home cooking by Anna at a good price. This is a place that locals go. Definitely would...be hard to find on your own. Will go back here again. We love to hike, eat and drink. Alberto provided an outstanding experience by helping us learn more about the history and types of truffles, how they are found and finally by enjoying the fruits of our labor. Started off with ~2.5 hour hike and hunt with Paola Valdambrini (President of White Truffle Association of Italy) and his dog Millie in a private area of hills planted with cypress, olive, pine and oak trees. Paolo and Alberto shared how the dog was trained, seasons for the different types truffles and how the land is prepped and maintained to provide the best conditions for the truffles to grow. Hike and hunt was easy to moderate. After hunt, we went to local restaurant named Osteria Pizzeria La Terrazza in the village Chiusure. Anna prepared a great lunch with the white truffles we found while we enjoyed a couple bottles of wines picked by Alberto with our traveling companions. View from patio was is very relaxing and beautiful.More

The agriturismo we were staying at outside Asicano recommended we go there for a good home-cooked style meal. However, I was very disappointed when we were served a tiny portion with some small pieces of meat after having ordered the grilled meat platter. We ordered...a side dish of roasted vegetables to go with the platter, which was also ridiculously small. The pasta dish we had as a starter was equally poor, with a plain sauce that could have easily been served out of a ready-made jar from the supermarket. I felt we weren't given the same treatment as the locals there were being given. The only positive thing about the place was the view, but you can get that anywhere in the area.More

Like everywhere in Italy, service is at the bottom of the list of things to offer customers in a restaurant. But this place takes it to a new low, deliberately being obtuse towards tourists. Granted, there is an excellent view. But there are excellent views...everywhere in Tuscany so hardly a selling point. We heard a fellow diner ordering 'cacio e pepe' off menu, and so my wife ordered it. The waitress said they could only make it with pecorino, which we told her was fine. As this is a dish fundamentally common to Tuscany, there is no way it could get messed up. Wrong. The waitress literally brought a plate of pecorino cheese chunks, claiming they could not make cacio e pepe for some reason. This could not have been because they were out of Pici, because my Pici & Ragu arrived with no issue. The bottom line is, if an Italian Osteria in Tuscany thinks it's ok to serve chunks of cheese because they cannot make cacio e pepe, they should not be allowed to own a kitchen. This is the Tuscan equivalent of a British Fish & Chip shop serving you a bowl of uncooked batter mix, or an American BBQ joint giving you a slice of bacon instead of ribs. Pathetic. Don't waste your time or money.More

We happened to stop here whilst we were driving round southern Tuscany. At first we thought the place was closed because there was no one lunching on the terrace. Curiosity had the best of me and I went to check the place out. So we...found the main restaurant door open, and we helped ourselves in. A lovely waitress welcomed us and we asked if we can stay on the terrace. she responded affirmatively. She handed us the menus and we ordered some water and wine to quench our thirsts. The menu is not vast, but all of the offerings are purely tuscan food. We ended up having a nice tuscan selection of cold cuts and cheeses. Then we ordered the main. I had a nice meze of bbq'd meat. That was followed up by a nice home made tiramisu. And I can safely say its the best tiramisu I have ever tasted. It was all so so tasty and we had a really relaxing and memorable lunch at this place. did I say that the bill was not painful at all. Actually it was very reasonable, for what we ordered. Thumbs up to the people who run this place!! Will definitely be back next time we are down in Tuscany!!! Cheers :)More

We found the pizzeria by accident. The view from the terrace drew out attention but cautiously we just ordered a plate of mixed starters and pici with ragu. Both excellent and the price was good. We visited the place twice again. Once for Easter and...had lovely gnocchetti with rucola sauce and pici again. The owner is great, smiley and friendly ,the staff is relaxed but very professional. The local inhabitants come for Sunday lunches because it is home made food, the menu varies depending on availability, so I am even happier ,knowing we are getting all fresh.Highly recommended!More

Drove past here one day and noticed the great view so we decided to come back for dinner. Menu is mostly pizza and paste. We ordered two pizzas, gnocchi and pici ragu. Food wasn't great and I will rate the dishes as average considering the...price which is cheap. Only one kind of red and white vine are on the menu. We chose 1/2 bottle of white but did not really fancy the taste. Service matched up with the food and the single waiter seemed a bit stressed out and I don't think I ever saw her smile. I know this isn't supposed to be a fancy restaurant but I would expect a little more. Come here to enjoy the sun setting over Tuscany and get some great pictures while you sit on the terrasse.More
