It is in the center of Asciano, with friendly staff, quick service and average food (pasta and pizza). A good choice for a last minute call.

We called here as a break after a day in nearby Siena. This is situated in a small town with a few nice bars. There was no room on the street so we settled for an inside table which was nice though a little hot. The food choice was reasonable as well as the prices whilst the staff were hard... More

Went there with my family. The waiter didn't understand english very well. One of the childrens main course - a pizza - came before the starters. The pizzas had so much tomato that it needed to be scraped off. Even after that the pizzas weren't good. When the plates Were taken from the first course, the cutlery was simply dumped... More

Pros: The server was extremely smile-y and the service was prompt and good. The pizzas and calzones were delicious. I suspect they were baked in a brick oven because of the nice char here and there on the crust. The tomatoes in my pasta were completely fresh and delicious--I suspect fresh off the vine! I usually hate what I call... More

We had a few meals here, including pasta, beef and pizzas. All were very good, as was the vino de casa. In fact the pizzas were the best we had in Italy. Recommended for an informal lunch or dinner, and very good value.

We have had serval times our diner at L'Angolo dello Sfizio and every time it was of a good and constant quality. We appreciate very much the Pici with pancetta and cherry tomatoes. But also the fagotini is very nice. The secondi have a good standard. And, last but not least, the service is quick and very friendly.

A delicious lunch from start to finish : we began with the local antipasto toscano, followed by rabbit with prunes and pancetta (excellent) for one of us and a splendid walnut, creamy courgette pasta for the other. The panna cotta afterwards was equally good. The house wine was very good value indeed. The whole meal was served by an attentive... More

Here on a business trip and had been to the number 1 rated place the evening before. We had planned to go back there for lunch but it was shut so we went to this place. Much more of a cafe style and fairly basic but again the food was very good. I just think Italians do rubbish food. Truffles... More
