Went to Rome for a couple of days and decided to go and have lunch at this restaurant known to be a bit expensive but with great quality Italian food!! We ordered 2 “fettuccine al ragu’” and some mozzarella with salad!! OMG – the pasta was sublime!!! Please, if you find yourself in Grottaferrata, don’t miss this place. Food value:... More

I went to dinner here twice in 2 weeks and I found the food more than satisfactory. I loved the tortelloni with the nutty sauce and I also enjoyed the pizza with its thin base and my favourite gorgonzola and rughetta topping! My guest couldn't wait to try the potato and sausage pizza they make around here and wasn't disappointed... More

We came to this restaurant/pizzeria five years ago and were enthusiastic. That time we had a juicy, lovely steak, and it was really good. This time a large party of us just had starters, pizza and a dessert, but no meat or fish. To start with the ambience, it is a lovely restaurant, very comfortable, cozy and welcoming. Unfortunately, the... More

Here for a late dinner a few weeks ago. Not much English spoken so it helps to dine with a local! Really fresh mozzarella with perfectly ripe tomatoes, rocket and olive oil was SO much better than I've ever found in the UK. Pizza was amazing, very thin and crisp with just enough tomato sauce, grilled veg and more mozzarella... More

Visited this restaurant twice in six days. Excellent menu choice. Helpful staff and great food. Pizza as good as any we have eaten, pasta also very good. Choice of wines is comprehensive and the price was very reasonable. Many large groups of locals dining, so the place is appreciated by them as well as tourists. When we visit the area... More

My wife and I came twice to this place during our four-day visit to Grottaferratta. The restaurant offers a great pergola where you can eat under the grape leaves. The place is highly frequented by Italian families (always a good sign). The first evening we both took a bruschetta with great pomodori. As main dish my wife went for the... More

Firstly I'd like to apologise to the staff for deciding to eat in this restaurant, obviously it was a big ask to serve us 2 young English girls on a Sunday evening. We were given a hostile welcome and expected to order 30 seconds after having sat down, this level of service continued throughout the meal. The pizzas themselves were... More

Wonderful garden, I didn't see a real grapes pergola for a long long time. Just in front of Grottaferrata landmark (St.Nilo's abbey). Take a seat and enjoy the huge portions of salad, then carry on with home made pasta in a number of sauces. Porcini mushrooms and artichokes rule.... go for them
