Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Felt like a lovely family restaurant. The ribs were amazing! We polished one and ordered another as they were so good! Definitely recommend if you are a meat fan.

I choose to eat in Cape Crocodile when I heard Dimitri was now the chef there as I used to go to his restaurant Captain Jims in Paleohora . He is a fantastic cook so I was pretty sure the food would be good . What I did not expect was how excellent the service would be as we where... More

What to say! I visited this restaurant a few years ago and was keen to try it again this year as it was really good. I was not disappointed. The quality of the food, the service and the overall ambience had improved since my last visit. I didn't ask if they had changed the chef but the food was cooked... More

We got the feeling that the customers on the other tables were far more important. All other waiters except one ignored us the whole evening. Waited for an hour for the food and saw all other tables getting served before us. Food was ok, the chicken even good, still such a pity as the location was perfect for our last... More

If you like meat, eat at Crocodile. Not that there were any reptiles on the menu. Makes a good change, and close to the bars near the ferry jetty. Probably good if you have kids that aren't crazy for Cretan specialties?

Great views of the crocodile (coastal rock formation), the bay, the sunrise (for breakfast), recent refurbishment, great food, try the huge plate of ribs with sauce and the team of staff led by Georgios are first rate. This is a long-established, quality establishment which puts the customer first. I regularly ate here in May 2016 but between 2002 and 2009... More

Great food and service at this taverna. We had onion rings and the spinach with garlic ,butter and cream which was extremely tasty. We also had the roast chicken leg and the prawn saganaki. The house white was good quality. All in all this was perhaps the best food and service of our stay.
