Ok food, overpriced. Tourist attraction for sure. We are upstairs and that was further away from the tree so it didn’t feel like a treehouse. Many other good choices out there!

We had an amazing meal and wonderful service, all in an amazing setting. Put this place on your "don't miss" list if you visit Monteverde.

We had dinner here on our first night in Santa Eleanor... it looks cool with the restaurant built around the tree.... but that is as good as it gets. There were very few veggie options on the menu, so I had pasta and my husband...had seabass. We are not fussy eaters, but we like nice food. Both meals were so bland it was totally disappointing. The price we paid here was much higher than other and better restaurants... clearly paying a premium for the gimmick of the tree. Such a shameMore

Nice concept but really bad food and not so impressive service. Worst pasta I had in life. It was more like bad noodle soup. Couldn’t eat more than two spoons despite being hungry. Place has music and drinks, perhaps that’s why people rated it high...for a place to chill. Don’t expect much though.More

Do not recommend this restaurant as the food quality was medicore and the service was below average. The restaurant is built around a tree. Feel free to step inside and take a look --- but wouldn't waste your time eating there.

This place is very cool, built around a big tree. We got one of their ‘typical’ dinners with a bunch of meat and tacos (chorizo, egg, steak+potato), empanadas, and sides (for like $20). We also got the salmon carpaccio and very delicious cocktails which for...whatever reason all drinks were 30% off (pisco sour was awesome). Overall a tiny bit more expensive than the local soda/hole in the wall but a very fun, romantic, delicious dining experience.More

We stumbled upon this place while exploring the downtown of Santa Elena and decided to go in. The restaurant is actually located on the second floor in a building with a tree through the middle of it, very cool. Part of the "roof" is actually...the tree acting like a canopy, open air kind of idea. It's bar/restaurant vibe and very nicely done. The service/staff was very friendly and the food was very good. My wife and I both had a steak and we enjoyed them very much. It's priced around a middle of the road steakhouse we would see at home in Canada. Great treat for us that night!More

Good cooking, with vegan and vegetarian options. The service and the place are great. Right in the middle of town.

Hello! I am no sure what you mean! We have no monkeys at the restaurant, that is not legal in Costa Rica. Best regards!
