Passing by and called in on a whim. Although without a reservation, we were given a table on the verandah overlooking the gardens and surrounding farms. Meals were tasty and well presented. Good range of wines and beers also available.

A really nice lunch by Dean. The 3 lamb shoulders were excellent and the daily pie apparently was excellent too. It disappeared before I could stab a bit! Will be back for sure.

We stopped here over Easter afternoon and walla...what an amazing view at the fron of this place. Beyond the paddocks is one of the view featured in the LOR movie. Unfortunately there is no wine tasting on this holiday. But yet we were welcomed by the husband an wife owners of this place who had so meticulously turned this in... More

It is worth the effort to get down the drive to have a tasting and lunch when the sun is shining. The lunch menu is great for matching local Queensberry wines with good food, great service and friendly conversation. The tasting at $15 gives you an individual selection of 5 wines while you lunch is being cooked and a good... More

Have visited a number of times. Food is generally good-very good. Portion sizes need to be bigger in some instances (Potato Bake for example) and perhaps some more flavour. More vegetarian options would also be helpful. Great local wines and beers are served here. Surroundings and vista. The owners are incredibly great hosts which does add to the experience

The Lazy Dog has long been a favourite of ours for visitors to our area; adults and also those who have young children. There is plenty of room for the children to play and our mantra is happy kids = happy adults which means that it's the first venue we think of. The staff are always very welcoming and the... More

We visited on a very wet day and unfortunately missed seeing the dogs, but were welcomed by a friendly cat. The gardens were lovely. There was a large bus tour there but our meals arrived promptly. My husband had a very nice burger with chips which he thoroughly enjoyed. Perhaps his remark that prawns should not be eaten inland should... More

We were lucky and thankful that the staff accommodated the three of us for lunch when we didn't have any reservation. It is a lovely spot overlooking the vineyard and the hills. The landscaping of the garden was well done. We had a relaxing and lovely time with lovely wine and great food. The salmon bruschetta was delicious. The mains... More

Great setting, especially on a lovely spring day. The gardens are lovely with many daffodils in full bloom. We had a coffee - very nice & lunch. A beef burger with no bun & the patties was real meat & extremely tasty. Great relish too. A side of thin fries that were cooked perfectly. Also had the bangers & mash.... More
