Despite the remoteness the food here was fresh, well cooked and tasty with generous servings and in a pleasant atmosphere with excellent service.

Considering close to middle of nowhere in deep outback, this is an excellent road house. Emu enclosure and Kangaroo firm will rejuvenate any tried kids on the roads, we loved them. The restaurant is not bad at all for outback standard. However, the coffee is...at dissatisfactory level while the food was just okay kind - we noticed majority of servers are Europeans. not Aussie actually which probably explains the lack of love a coffee lover Aussie barista would have!More

We have just had THE best steak and lamb shanks. Absolutely delicious. Fantastic staff in the bar while we had a couple of drinks waiting for our meal. Very welcoming. See you on the way back!!

This large and very popular roadhouse is about halfway between Alice Springs and Yulara. We ate in the cafe but given the prices did not buy fuel here. The queues for the bowers were massive but if you have enough gas to get you the...200 km to Alice you will save yourself about 42 cents a litre (diesel). In Yulara (250 km) the fuel was marginally more expensive than here but there are also no massive queues at the bowsers. On the other hand, food in the cafe was reasonably priced given the remoteness. We chose from the takeaway menu, a wrap, chicken & leek pie, chips and coffees - all fine and we ate inside, in the cafe. There are also tables outside. They also stock a wide range of supplies plus souvenirs in the 'supermarket' part of the store. Interestingly, when we visited a large number of the staff seemed to be Spanish speakers.More

Thank you for your review. When it comes to the price of fuel in the Red Centre, we do try and keep our prices low, however, because of our remote location this can sometimes be difficult. We also have plans to upgrade our fuel offer...More

Worst coffee ever. Paid $5.50 for a hot flat white. The ‘coffee’ was white milk and water. There was no colour to the coffee yet it was supposed to have 2 shots. Don’t waste your money. I took two sips and threw it in the...bin.More

Beautifully cooked salmon with amazing salad! 95/100 fresh crisp salad ingredients and of course great chips! Always a dining pleasure as a regular visitor to Erldunda.

We stopped here once for fuel on the way to Uluru, it was busy with caravans everywhere and lined up 5 deep. Fuel was more expensive than Fuelmap suggested but was still within the realms of outback fuel. Our second visit was less hectic, and...we had a hamburger I had the stack which was around $16 and it was a huge meal I could have share it easily. My wife had a steak sandwich – we would rate both at very good to excellent. Not bad for a busy place with the current shortages in staff. They have a number of Emus to see as well.More

Between Alice Springs and getting to Ayers Rock this place is a perfect stop. The staff is great, food is really good but most importantly, awesome coffee ☕. The facilities are good and it's fairly quiet out the back in the park. There's the emu...enclosure and a sunrise/sunset viewing platform, good for photos. Nothing to complain about here, would happily come back.More

Perfect location for a stop on the drive between Alice and Uluru. Staff really really friendly and helpful, burgers and chips awesome. Emu enclosure off to the side very amusing (they like chips). Also had knick knacks/souvenirs etc. One stop shopping (and petrol). There is...also a pub on the some site - but I was just at the shop counter.More

This place is worth stopping for lunch, not just because it's half way from Alice Springs to Uluru but because you won't be disappointed. It's not only a good outback roadhouse with petrol, toilets etc. but the freshly cooked food (we had barra burger, steak...sandwich, chicken wrap and BLT) were outstanding.More
