Good spot to stop at after a long drive. Clean, bit rundown, when it's only for the night it's good. Pool was lovely and clean, meals were huge. Loved the camel, rooster and emus.

great service, lovely staff , well presented meals all cooked to a high quality. Small menu , no desserts but plenty of chocolate available from the shop if you need a little something sweet after your main course.
Omg the food was incredible so yummy , such lovely friendly staff . Great spot in the middle of nowhere Definitely stop in again
Stayed here last night. Fine overnight stop. We stayed unpowered. Large flat area out back. Had dinner in Tavern, pricey for quality but large meals. We shared after seeing size coming out of kitchen! Facilities fine. Yes petrol expensive but hey captive audience so it...is what it is. We stay overnight again.More
Plenty of unpowered space to camp. Resident camel & emu are friendly & interesting. Happy hour (6pm) is popular. Food is awesome & reasonably priced! Tavern staff are super friendly& helpful. Amenities are clean. Laundry facilities on site. Pool available. Small supermarket. A great stopover...between Alice Springs & Coober Pedy. Recommend this stay totally!More
We are staying here but did not have any fresh produce for our lunch so we called over to the restaurant to pick something quick up. I chose a spring roll and my husband a medium chips. the spring roll was ok but the chips...were a bit ordinary. I was going to choose dim sims but at $3.50 per dim sim I decided to give this a miss.More
Stopped for a quick lunch at the Erldunda Roadhouse Restaurant on our journey from Uluru to Alice Springs. Erldunda is about the half-way point. Had a sausage roll, chips, rocky road brownie & soda. Was good and served its purpose. Erldunda is considered to be...the geographic center of Australia -- "The Centre of the Centre". Has a large pen of emus, which you can feed.More
Thank you for taking the time to write us a review Wesley; we're pleased to hear you enjoyed your meal and hope to see you again.
Always stop on a road trip even just to look at the odd stuff on offer for tourist. Some very funny stuff. Friendly chirpy staff clearly enjoying themselves. Good coffee nice sandwich a good place to fuel up car and human.
Thank you so much for your great review Vicki; we appreciate it!
Camped for one night, could pick our own site due to being wet season. Still a few travellers staying. Pool was lovely & cold. Great to take a dip in at the end of a days drive. Showers had cold water which was perfect. Grabbed...a large coffee from roadhouse the next morning & it was great. Just as good as city cafes. They have a camel & emus, great for kids as you can feed them.More

We had dinner at the restaurant. The food was very good, service was great. I would eat there again, definitely recommend.
Thank you so much for your review Chrissy! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed your meal at our Tavern, and hope to see you again.
There were quite a few staff in the roadhouse but no one seemed to get anything done. One poor customer collected something from the heated food area and then gave up trying to pay for it and returned it. The coffee was bad and the...atmosphere even worse. Avod if you are in need of a snack and coffee.More

the location is central to Uluru and Kings Canyon. We stayed 2 nights and drove firstly to the Rock and then the second day to Kings Canyon. Both all sealed roads of about 2 plus hours. Budget accommodation at a reasonable price. Basic motel type...rooms but suitable for a road trip and after a solid day of trekking. Fit for purpose.More

Despite the remoteness the food here was fresh, well cooked and tasty with generous servings and in a pleasant atmosphere with excellent service.
Considering close to middle of nowhere in deep outback, this is an excellent road house. Emu enclosure and Kangaroo firm will rejuvenate any tried kids on the roads, we loved them. The restaurant is not bad at all for outback standard. However, the coffee is...at dissatisfactory level while the food was just okay kind - we noticed majority of servers are Europeans. not Aussie actually which probably explains the lack of love a coffee lover Aussie barista would have!More
We have just had THE best steak and lamb shanks. Absolutely delicious. Fantastic staff in the bar while we had a couple of drinks waiting for our meal. Very welcoming. See you on the way back!!
Thank you so much for your review Erica! We're pleased to hear you enjoyed your meal and your time at Erldunda's Tavern.
