We visited as a group of 17 on canoes. They seated us outside promptly, took our orders and had the food to us in good time. The food was simple and good, the view fabulous and the prices fair. It became very busy while we were there so try and get there as early as you can.

The inn is a perfect place to stop while canoeing on the river Wye for drinks or lunch and there are great chances to be amazed by the wonderful natural setting in which is located. The prices are ok and the staff is helpful.

Fast service, excellent food, high quality pub classics. There are nice views of the river, and a cool ferry.

Poor attitudes from all staff encountered, felt like having customers was an inconvenience to them. Tea came out with no milk, refused to let anyone look at a menu because it's 11.55 and they don't serve til 12... Just very poor customer relations.

Great menu with prompt service in a fantastic pub garden overlooking the river. Local ales and proper pork scratchings - heaven

Went here after a long walk with the dog, they let dogs inside and will give them water. Make sure to order food inside as they wont take orders outside. So grab a table and head inside to get food and drink. It is fairly reasonably priced and there is lots to choose from on the menu. It's slightly better... More

This is a picture postcard location on the river. After a day's canoeing we enjoyed the short walk to the pub. The food was good but be prepared for a little wait as it is a very popular location on a sunny day. The views along the river are stunning especially while enjoying a cold refreshment.

Perfect spot for a late Sunday lunch in a lovely river side location. A shame they do not do a Sunday roast but food was very good quality at a reasonable price.

Set on the banks of the river Wye this olde world inn is authentic and welcoming. It is very popular for food and tables with a view of the river need to be reserved. Staff friendly and helpful. I did not eat here but the food I saw looked delicious with good portions. Prices were average for are. Not expensive.... More
