After a walk in Ostuni we go by car just outside the city, in the open countryside. Quiet and very welcoming place, friendly staff and atenoi. Very fair prices for the quality of the food. Fish and land-based dishes cooked and plated with care The cuttlefish with potatoes, lime and salicornia was delicious, accompanied with delicious broccoli, and the desserts were also excellent. Highly recommended.

My partner and I returned, this time also accompanied by another couple of friends, to have dinner. The pleasant evening, tending towards a coolness that suggested a summer that was coming to an end, but no less satisfying, in fact the restaurant on the open-air garden was completely occupied. We pleasantly enjoyed the food and the prosecco ordered, each according to their own food and wine tastes, without forgetting the courtesy of the staff which is always very high.

Upon arrival, the farm welcomed us with all the beauty of the centuries-old olive trees, simple but refined, very refined furnishings, food with fresh, top quality products. The good chef and Maradona fan deserves a 10 for the choice of products, good, friendly and very outgoing, you need a nice face. Personally I greet them with the start of my next 82 years, difficult to please.

We had dinner in this small but welcoming establishment on an evening when there was a lot of confusion in the center and it was impossible to find parking.
We found ourselves in an oasis of peace and serenity.
The mise en place is pleasant.
Off-menu dishes presented with competence and kindness.
The presentation is accurate.
Excellent for tasting.
Relaxing background music. Lounges where we ended dinner sipping some excellent grappa. We left the restaurant totally satisfied. One of our favorite places in Ostuni.

Il Fienile is a must if you’re keen to just slightly step away from the heat and bustle of Ostuni town centre. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful location amongst olive groves and fruit trees where a nice cooling breeze drifts up while you watch the sunset. The food was fantastic, lots of home grown and local ingredients used to create some superb dishes. There were also a number of specials to choose from which were complimented by some excellent deserts and great wines. The owner was incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgable just like the rest of the team. A must visit restaurant if you’re anywhere in the region.

What a place! We were a bit dubious on arrival as it wasn't so easy to find - led astray by Sybil the Satnav. The restaurant seemed a bit out of the way and there were only a couple of people sitting outside but once we went inside we were immediately given a warm welcome and shown to our table in the lovely dining room. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Everything was excellent. I was determined to make it through to the dessert so we shared a portion of the delicious antipasto. I had the most delicious calamarata with fish sauce - it was the special and the Husband loved his huge prawns and we shared some delicious potatoes. Thank goodness we did get to dessert. We shared the most amazing chocolate and hazelnut cream confection. One of the best things I have eaten in a long time. Perfect espresso to finish. This place is a gem - the food is delicious and the service is personal. Everything is done with love and it shows. Thank you.

Absolutely wonderful experience just outside Ostuni. It's better if you have a car but you could walk it from town.
We very rarely go back to the same place however the food and whole customer experience was so enjoyable we drove back 45 minutes from alberobello.
It was june/July so we sat on one of the tables outside, it's not massive so you must really reserve as we saw a lot of people who hadn't being turned away. Luckily, unlike every other restaurant in the area who ignored my emails to reserve a table, they came back to me within half an hour to confirm our reservation, and on the second time, squeezed us in even when they were full.
So the food, well where do i start, my partner and I had exactly the same dishes as the first night, which again is unusual, but they were that good compared to everything else we had eaten that week. We tried both types of ravioli, Prawn and pumpkin. The pumpkin in sage sauce with hazelnuts is now my food heaven dish. Tagliata, cooked beautifully, with rocket, tomatoes and a side of the best fries my partner had ever eaten, and he has sampled most.
We think that it is a couple who run it, with the lady, I feel bad for not getting her name, working tirelessly to manage all of the tables. She recommended some really good and reasonable local wines.
The setting is really beautiful italian farm/rustic, with a great soundtrack, I've now discovered some genuinely good old school Italian music!
If you're in the area make a reservation and go. It's a limited, but big enough menu, which shows that they know what they are doing and they are so friendly.
Only slight challenge was that they didn't have a menu in English, but the lady helpfully explained everything to us.

We arrived without a reservation and were a little battered by the flu that had just passed so we asked for an inside table and although they didn't serve inside, they let us sit. Ate 2 appetizers, a first course and a second course, 2 of which were off the menu, namely:
An appetizer (red prawn tartare with pistachio reduction, Burrata and cherry tomatoes) and a first course (calamarata with scorpion fish sauce, gurnard, baby octopus and prawn).
Sublime, compliments for both the food and the attentive and present service.
The wine, a Verdeca from Askas, was very suitable for pairing with the food ordered.
I haven't eaten this well in a long time.
I have yet to see the bill but it doesn't matter when you eat so well with the right service and, I forgot, in a fabulous location.

Unexpected fine and tasteful place that pops up as you go down after a visit to the magical Ostuni. We were hosted in a beautiful patio, with a few places set with original style. Diligent and competent staff. The menu offers a range of land and sea that enhances the territory but also tries to experiment. Wine cellar also rightly focused on local wines. You leave the restaurant relaxed and still with the memory of excellent flavours.

A place not to be missed. Located just over 2 km from the center of Ostuni, fantastic setting and excellent food. Outdoor tables. You can savor the flavors of Puglia in a fairytale location. The service is also excellent. Extremely reasonable prices.

A farmhouse immersed in the nature of the Apulian olive groves, complete with a distant sea view. Beautiful garden and truly exceptional dishes. Selected ingredients and refined flavours, quality raw materials. There is no doubt, in this place we work with passion, you can see it and feel it! We will be back

A real discovery not far from the Accommodation where we were for a short holiday.
Traditional cuisine but expertly revisited, refined combinations and simple raw materials, all served in an ancient barn expertly renovated. The prices are very honest and the staff welcoming and helpful: a special appreciation to Maria which is certainly an added value!

This is a special restaurant. The location is perfect, at the foot of the White City and surrounded by olive trees. The menu is definitely sought after but there are classic dishes "revisited" and tasty. The wine list is equally excellent. If in Ostuni, this restaurant cannot be missed!

We were looking for a restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything was perfect from the venue, just outside Ostuni, the atmosphere, the service were all amazing. The food was then even better every mouthful for all of us was incredible. The love and commitment to make such wonderful food is a credit to the chef and the whole team. This isn’t just the best we’ve had in Ostuni, this is one of the best we’ve had ever in Italy, and we’ve had many amazing dinners out. My daughter is 7 and had 3 courses and ate the lot. Thank you to the wonderful team at Fienile for a fantastic food experience.

Magnificent for all occasions. A nice discovery just outside Ostuni. Beautiful location but above all good food and good assortment of wines. It is difficult to eat badly in Puglia but for those who travel often there is always a need for something more and tonight we found it in this beautiful place. The dinner was accompanied by the friendliness and smiles of the Maria room girl attitudes that these days are not obvious. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
