We ended up eating dinner here after our reservations for dinner at an agriturismo was cancelled due to flooding. This restaurant came as a recommendation. It did not disappoint. The food, service and atmosphere was terrific. A great plan B.

Had a wonderful dinner here, on the recommendation of the host from our B&B in Monopoly. The hostess was very welcoming, and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting. It was a rainy night, so we sat inside. The restaurant that we originally were booked to go to wouldn't let us in early (it was 10 min before their posted... More

Friendly service and pleasant location in a terrace courtyard. The food was fine but not more. I had antipasti to start which was a large selection of various things, including fried cheese and filo pie. I then had orrechiette with squid ink and tuna which was far too large and quite stodgy after a short while. The meal was filling... More

Setting really pleasant with a particulary pretty garden . Out of the seven restaurants we tried this was the one that provided the genuine " local " food which may or may not be to everyone's taste but at least you know you've tried something different as the food was very good

Came here for lunch, it was 2 pm so still some time before it closed for the afternoon, the waiter checked his watch twice as he got impatient with our ordering, he gave no advice on food. We ordered pasta... it was incredibly plain and dull. There was a stew for the main course. British can make a better stew... More

Oh my, what a find - well, actually we were pointed here by some locals, so can't claim to have 'found' it ..... But from descending the steps down into this amazing 'grotto like' restaurant, to the final limoncello with petit fours cakes it was a culinary delight. The menu was carefully explained to us by very knowledgeable and accomplished... More

Went to lunch because this taverna was cited in our guidebook. Really liked the setting. Antipasti di verdure were very tasty, copious, and we really enjoyed them. But the mains were disappointing for us, too heavy and salty, most items on the menu did not seem adapted for a hot season.

We visited on the recommendation of the villa manager for our son's 18th birthday. The setting was lovely, food excellent and good service. We had the antipasti and were pretty full after that.Washed done with a bottle of their prosecco which was delicious-much better than many I have had in Italy and the UK.

Thank Fiona B
