pretty good Thai food at not outrageous prices but the main reason to be there is for the fire show - well worth a visit

As seafood lovers my husband and I decided to try the Baan Ploy restaurant. The restaurant was quite big with a high ceiling, the tables are large, sitting is on cushions on the floor, but dont worry b'cos there's a recess under the table for your legs. We were greated with friendly/smiley waitress . For our drinks, I ordered Muay Thai cocktail(you... More

We decided to eat out on the second day of your stay in Samed. We ended up in this restaurant which was about half a kilometre from our hotel. Jackpot!! The preparation was absolutely amazingly. Seafood as fresh!! The staff were very welcoming!!

Lovely setting with very high quality food and drinks, one of the pricier establishments on the island though.

Great open restaurant with a big roof. Nice views to the sea. It has low tables so you're really sitting on de floor (there is a hole in the floor for your legs so it's like sitting on a chair). Food is good! They have fresh fish (go select the fish you want) and also a lot of other courses... More

The food was very nice and seafood very fresh. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the view fully compensate that. :) The staff was very friendly, however I didn't like that you fully have to stick to the menu. In the menu was fish with line sauce and I asked if they can prepare seafood with lime sauce and... More

With seats on top of ocean, clear floor, make the meal enjoyable. Foods is nothing special and a bit expensive. Also the fish farm is interesting

This is a must eat on Koh Samet. You sit in the sand on pillows, the tables are low. It is very crowded and hectic. The food is very good and we got our food pretty fast. They made us pay after each drink/food, and we found that very oss, but during the evening, ve understood why. It is so... More
