Six of us for lunch. Great food and friendly lovely service. Only criticism I have is that there was no Sauvignon Blanc available by the glass. It would be my guess that Sav Blanc is probably the most popular white. Otherwise all good.

But on a rainy Sunday, decided to turn off the main road and give it another go. It has been expanded and redecorated since I was last here and... More

Beautiful location, with stunning views across Lake Karpiro, good local recipe with interesting options. Ideal spot for a morning coffee or a leisurely lunch. Well presented with the usual friendly kiwi service. It is difficult to find and should be promoted more strongly in the area and with much better signage. Be careful to check opening times as they vary!

We had our son's birthday party here. The food was lovely and substantial. We sat outside under the vines which was great in summer. The staff were helpful. We also used the kayaks that day.
