We stayed here as we're attending a party in Annan. Arrived at hotel around 7pm parked around the back in the car park and went up to the reception desk. Stood here for a few minutes whilst the staff finished there conversation about there friend who was expecting a baby. Having stayed before we asked to pay there and then... More

Stayed here for one night in November. Firstly the good points; the plug heater worked and the curtainless room soon warmed up, there was plenty of hot water but only if you ran it into the ancient re-painted and stained enamelled bath and didn't expect it to come through the shower head and the cooked breakfast was passable. This, plus... More

( of us visited for a meal. My main course of steak & mushroom pie came after all the other main plates were taken away. I ordered it with potatoes and vegetables and was given salad and chips. My hot apple pie and pouring cream were then sat next to me as I started to eat my main course so... More

Was visiting area for the weekend and popped in for a late lunch, 2 days ago. We both opted for burgers and they were gorgeous. Freshly cooked juicy chicken with plenty of salad and curly fries. I recommend the New York burger. Friendly and quick service. Enjoy

I stayed here a night and ate on two evenings. There is a confusing range of menus; it is worth reading them all because you can pick and choose from any. In the main two courses will set you back between 10-15 pounds, good value for money. Do not expect haute cuisine, rather, this is a hotel that believes in... More

My wife and I stayed two nights in this hotel It has much going for it - high street location, car parking. However it has seen better days and needs an injection of funds to bring it back to life. We had breakfast which was good but the service left a lot to be desired. It was quite pleasant to... More

Basic Microwave food I'd say - not the place it was and looks run down from outside. Building in need of maintenance, front steps a mossy disgrace and and accident waiting to happen when someone slips. Could be something better - it once was the top hotel in the town. Rear area a disgrace.

As the title says I actually enjoyed my meal once it arrived, but sadly we had to get all our cutlery replaced before the meal, as it was still covered in food. As well as that we had to wipe our own table. The place in general is in very poor condition, dirty walls, carpets, cobwebs everywhere, sticky laminated menus... More
