Visited on a Monday evening with my partner and our five year old daughter. Drove past the takeaway shop that looks into the seafront but they actually have a small sit in cafe/restaurant at the back that we sat in. Restaurant is very clean, each table adorned with salt and vinegar so you can help yourself to as much as... More

All freshly cooked and truly delicious. May cost a couple of pounds more than other chippies in the town (sitting in the restaurant that is) but there is no way any of them will match this joint for quality of food. Nice size portions and lovely friendly staff.. Easily the best fish and chip place in the town!!!

After a long day, fancied a quick tea. Had fish and chips. Fish was nice, chips okay. Quite expensive but fine for a nice quality fish. Chips were £3 for a large which I thought a lot as half the size to my local.

An enjoyable experience!!!! Lovely fresh, hot fish and chips, we had a small cod and chips, which came with a cup of tea, and bread and butter, and mushy peas, all for 8 pounds, the portions were generous. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, we will definitely return, and I would recommend this lovely restaurant.

Got sausage and chips from the takeaway bit. Was quick service and the food was quick to come out. Was really good chips and reasonably priced.

On Friday myself and three other adults took a group of 12 15 year olds into this shop. Now admittedly we had forewarned them but they were really patient and speedy in their response to our varied requests. It being a Friday they might have been more frazzled but were really kind and helpful and the food was excellent too

Two hungry people ate well on freshly cooked fish and chips. The portions were extremely generous but more importantly the quality of the finished article was exceptional. One of the best outlets for the product that I can remember. To be recommended.

Cannot be beaten, among at least three they come first. Succulent fish and so fresh and lovely chips not just in the Summer all year round, I know because I live here.....

We visited here over the Xmas period after a walk and each had fish and chips. A great environment with friendly staff who served us in the restaurant. The most important thing though - the food! Honestly can say this is in the top 5 best fish and chips I've had (and that's a lot), highly recommended and great value... More
