If you are in Teignmouth for the day and fancy a bacon bap, this is the place to go. They are open 364 days a year and there is no indoor seating, but they do supply blankets on a cold day. Best bacon bap ever.

Cracking place to sit and have a hot chocolate, and a bacon sandwich... East Cliff Cafe attracts a wide range of people and there were a load of scooters from Torbay Mods one of the times I was there. This created great interest for people, and my kids loved it. Good friendly staff, and not many better places to sit... More

We visited Teignmouth as a time filler whilst a relative was at hospital in Exeter for part of the day. We came upon this gem of a cafe and were blown away by the pleasant nature of the people, the quality of the food and drinks plus the provision of seating outside but sheltered. Judging by the number of people... More

I visited The East Cliff Cafe again recently. Can I just say how much I enjoyed my Bacon Bap and cup of tea, served by extremely pleasant people. The weather was perfect and it was quite lovely to sit and look at the sea whilst enjoying my food and drink.

One of the best spots in Teignmouth to stop for a coffee and take in the view of the estuary and the coast. After a walk along the seafront it good to stop here and not have to pay high street prices. A great hot chocolate for £1.75 and all those views. Staff brilliant.

A good location on the promenade at Teignmouth with a range of snacks and drinks. Basic but clean. Only outdoor seating with no shade or protection from the rain but a good spot to spend a lazy half an hour taking in the view.
