Pros: reasonable price, views of the harbor from the balcony. Fish fairly fresh, grilled well, able to avoid crowd being slightly away from the main tourist areas Cons: hygiene not so perfect, flies (understandable with the restaurant wide open on both street side & sea view side, also ubiquitous horse traffic), chicken with minimal flavor but cooked fairly well. Communal... More

Food tastes good, too much fat however. Salads and mukabelat are also good Service is super fast and waiters speak arabic Not a comfotable place, too crowded at lunch time, toilet to be avoided As usual, too many tables you cannot seat comfortably Overall, its ok only if one is too hungry to wait untill going back to istanbul as... Do not be fooled by the central location or the beautiful view of this place. It has nothing to do with the original sultanahmet kofte place. They have bad quality meat and meatballs are overpriced.

Food is not bad, service is friendly, cost is average. We ordered a doner kebab, a grilled fish, fried mussels and beer. We were charged 70 TL, including the 8TL service charge.

Taken there by our guide who advised this place is famous for its history if great food. We tried the house speciality which is kofte (meatballs) served with white beans , pickled chillies and salad. Don't be confused because the meatballs are actually not balls but flattened meat. Very delicious and served by a team of waiters who are excellent... More

We tried this restaurant as we were promised to have a good experience inside.. The food was good, portions not too big, but enough. But when we ordered the check we were surprised by the service charge of 23TL.

To be fair all the eateries at this princes island are essentially traps. However, here the food was not as tasty as we had hoped for in Buyukada. The portions were small, service was really poor. The service charge was massive, final bill shocking. Please avoid!

A decent-sized restaurant with friendly service and decent food. Located closed to the main square where the clock tower in Buyukada and next to Starbucks. We sat upstairs on the 1st floor and had a good sea view. We kad kebabs and kofte and they were pretty decent. The place is quite clean and waiters were very helpful. It is... More
