Went to Grotta Adrdito for my daughter's 19th birthday and had a lovely meal. Starter was fried fish and courgette mousse which was absolutely delicious. For mains we had steaks and they melted in a mouth. My husband pepper steak and mine with mushrooms and prawns were top notch. To add my 8 year old ordered sea food soup and... More

Great welcome food and service in this smart seafront restaurant. Zucchini pie with shrimps - the lightest starter ever, mussel and clam soup followed by orecchini with shrimps and bacon. On a balcony and table for two overlooking the Adriatic. Bellissimo.

The first time we came to Grotta Ardito was two years ago. Luckily, it didn't change. Again, we had the table on the roof top facing the sea with a view towards the caves. The food was excellent. We had their entrees, the paccheri with fish and then a whole fish (we were 4 adults with two toddlers). Service was... More

I had a fantastic food experience in Ristorante Grotta Ardito. I had the pleasure to taste the real Italian food, the food of Puglia, maybe the best of the Italian cousin. The quality of fish was great and eating the row sea food was like to eat a piece of sea. I recommend to everybody. The experience was great at... More

This was a great find off the beaten track. We had a great table overlooking the sea on a balcony for two. Our waiter was very helpful and the food delicious. We both had seafood and enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend.

Beautiful restaurant, excellent wine but food disappointing. Fillet was grisly and extremely hard to cut. I only ate a small portion and was not asked if there was a problem.

Kind of just ended up here after a long walk, looked closed but they invited us in. The restaurant is on the second floor and upon entering it you feel like you stepped into a foreign movie set, everything you imagine a fine restaurant on the sea would look like. The food was mainly seafood of course but done with... More

Visited this restaurant one evening after booking in the morning. We had a balcony seat on the first floor overlooking the sea. We were made most welcome, the service was good and the food excellent.

Even the kids explored new tastes this time. Wonderful! My daugjter had the orange pasta with shrimp amd prawns. I had the antipasti muscles and clams. My friend had the swordfish pasta. We topped it off with a local white wine. Wonderfully blended flavors. Beautiful view. So happy we skipped the grottapalazia for here. Better prices, beautiful views and excellent... More
