The food was good, but the dessert was amazing. Our service was the best we had in Ireland, in any town, big or small, and Portmagee is tiny. Loved our lunch here.

We chuckled a lot..the place was packed, and the waitress was much like a governess..very efficient and serving a LOT of people. Lunch was very good although not a lot of GF options. for non Gf folks, this is a great lunch stop : )

Well worth visiting. Quality of the food is very good and service is great. We had a lovely room in the window overlooking the harbour and it made for an extremely pleasant evening. Great value too given the food quality.

Awful menu unless you like fish...rude staff. Good atmosphere in evening if youre just having a drink but if youre eating, you will feel rushed out. However, the areas beautiful, Portmagee is worth a stop on the Skellig Ring. Theres a little bakery and another bar, but Portmagees so small thats all there is to choose from! Cahersiveen is the... The place is nice. Expensive. The food was delicious but we were rush out . The place was not full and we were not totally finish ( we had been there for like 20 min) and they picked up our plates without asking if we were done. Again for the price, a little more time would have been nice. I... More

After Valencia Island via the bridge, we stopped in Portmagee for it has been many years since we were here last. Went to the Moorings Restaurant for lunch and was not disappointed. Atmosphere was excellent, service was excellent, and the food was, well, excellent. The burgers in the States are not this good. Really nice place, give it a try.

Stopped for some lunch having visited Valentina island. The menu was good and the place was busy. Got our seated and we ordered. I chose the seafood mariner. There was an "electrical issue" in the kitchen so our food was delayed. My food was very tasty but the mussels were either over cooked or there was an issue with them.... More

As a coeliac its often hard to find good restaurants to eat at and I always find it a small bit embarassing having to say I am coeliac straight away so theres no confusion or chance of me getting sick. The waitress couldn't have made me feel any worse if she tried, she made a face at me and then... More

This is just a great location, and everybody goes there. We had a very good meal, a bit pricey but delicious and convenient. They are right across the street from the boat launch for ferries and other tours, and walking distance from everything in little Portmagee. Breakfast was also very good.

Great stop for a meal while driving along the ring. The menu is a little small but where they lack in quantity, they make up for it with quality.
