This was the only place to eat so it wasn't carefully chosen, but it was (to our humble English palates) most excellent. One €20 and one €29 menu brought forth a succession of delights - five courses at the higher price. Without translating the menus (which are on the Chez Mado website), between us we were served fish terrine, prosciutto... More

I booked the restaurant for Sunday lunch as a treat for my wife and I. We had eaten here on 3 occasions previously and wanted to repeat the experience. It certainly did not disappoint, the food was superb chosen from a wide selection on the menu. The service was very traditionally french, efficient and unobtrusive. I can not comprehend the... More

Not cheap but worth the extra expense. Plat de Fruits de Mer with lobster €120 for two and the Menu Gourmande at €60 is wonderful. Other menus from €29-98. Decent and varied wine lis. A lovely old building, beautifully decorated with panoramic view across the bay. Helpful and attentive staff. Dinner for four with drinks about €300 for the top... More

Having stayed in La Crotoy several times we decided to bite the bullet and visit Mado. It couldn't have been better. The welcome, the service and of course the food were all first class. A special mention to Angela and Jean-Pierre who looked after us beautifully all evening. Will definitely return.

We went here for dinner and had a very nice meal. We both had a dozen oysters to start with and we both have Sole as a main course which was excellent and beautifully cooked. We also had an excellent bottle of Pinot Gris from Alsace. Would recommend this restaurant .

We had eaten here several times, but usually we had the steak which was always good. We had seen people with the 2-person seafood platter and eventually we thought we should give it a try. Out it came, and we thought to ourselves "Look at all that food! We'll never manage to eat all of that!" So we started and... More

I really love this restaurant! Been there already 4times and left always really satisfied. Reasons to go: - the atmosphere: it is so "french" and I assume didn't changed its interiors since the 80's - the view: during daytime you have a great view on the bay (ask for a table on the second floor) - the service: the chef...
