We ordered boar with dumplings and french fries. Big portions. Nice atmosphere, but the music made me feel like I was in a disco. Apart from that, very quick service , nice personel. I recommend the 13 degrees beer! Definitly a nice restaurant.

Beer is good, but nothing special, you forget that next day...Soup was very tasty, pickled cheese average, but without problems next day.:) Over all a little bit higher prices for small town, you can get much more for your money in area...Nice interior...:)

We had a Silvester stay in Kromeriz for a weekend. We didnt know where to go to eat when we arrived, so we have chosen this restaurant because of great reviews here. The place looks like typical czech restaurant "hospoda" with a lot of beer and czech meat. The daily offer had unexpected prices 179 CZK for a goulash is... More

Not the first visit and as usual, very good food, service and atmosphere. Apart of delicious food (one of the best steak tartares) and amazing selection of locally brewed beers (Xmas in December, some green one for St Patrick's day, another afrodiziac one .... you choose), this place has unique brewery themed interior design. Deffo place not to be missed.

Really polite, menus in 5 or more languages and marked up any intolerances on the food menus. We only drank coffee and beer here but the staff were courteous and helpful. The beer was good and the coffee was nice also.

We visited this month and found that there was a change in the Food concept. Still good Food and a variety of Choices, but not the traditional wholesome Foods we've had there before. Maybe there is another chef. As usual the beer is amazing, and the service is great. Will definitely come back!

Friendly staff, outstanding value for money, well-prepared food, top notch brew pub beer. Make a reservation for the best up front rooms but even back by the kitchen was nice.

The food and beer at Cerný orel are both very good. All of the food was prepared well and we both enjoyed what we ordered. We also tried most of the beers on tap. Given the hype, I expected the experience to be even better. It was very good but not great.

Restaurant situated right in the center of Kromeriz. Recommend for great food and kind staff. Try some of the local Czech dishes and also the choco cake, was delicious and homemade in their own choco factory. Nice view on the square, but only from the first 2 tables. The rest of restaurant is situated more inside the house.

We travelled around northern Moravia and we found this place as the best. Their menu is rich but reflecting local cuisine (e.g. brewery goulash). They make their own selection of beers. And from their terrace you can observe most beautiful part of city. Simply a good restaurant.

Brewery, restaurant, pension and hotel „CERNY OREL“ ***+ KromerizThe history of the building dates back to the 15th century however in 1734 there was the first mention of a pharmacy at „Cerny Orel“ so one of the rooms in the restaurant was named “beer pharmacy ”. Our brewers brew unfiltered and unpasteurized beer according to classic Czech technology. The main brewer Martin Hrubes and his assistent brewer Vladimir Juchelka take care of the whole process.
